I do voiceover work and was recently handed a script using the word "with" in a way that feels odd to say:
"Please welcome to the stage John Doe with Microsoft"
I would have normally said "Please welcome to the stage John Doe of Microsoft".
Any thoughts on the correct way to phrase this?
PS: it wasn't Microsoft but using it as an example ;-)

been sick since i was 15. i am 30 now. on and off lupus diagnosis(recently told i do not have lupus for like the 4th time) constant respiratory infections, diagnosed with asthma and a ton of allergies when i was 26. everything has only gone down hill since then. i am in and out of the ER constantly. sore red throat, ear aches, skin rashes, im anemic, i have high eosinophils, i have high platelets, my fatigue is so debilitating i cant even hold down a job. im very tired of doctors not taking me seriously. I'm a newbie, and have a lot to learn, and I have my first show on a Digico SD9 coming up, and one thing I haven't fully wrapped my head around is: how best to save and recall my soundcheck? For some context, I've been working in small >100 cap rooms for the last few years, with analog setups or on a few QU/SQ series digital mixers.
From what I can see, there are broadly two options: Save a session, or use 'snapshots'. I can also see that both of these options are very powerful and allow one to include or exclude what gets recalled. I think it's the scope aspect that I can't wrap my head around.
With saving, and then reloading, a session, I understand the console will not pass audio for ~10 seconds or so. That's not ideal, and more so as there will be a DJ in between sets on the night.
With snapshots, I can't find a clear tutorial, or conceptual explanation, that will allow me to use it for a basic one shot of the whole console, like I can with the Allen & Heath QU/SQ "scenes". I'm not expecting someone to explain all this to me here. But if anyone has any pointers, or general advice, or links to videos they would recommend, that'd be helpful. Otherwise, I'll keep reading.

 | Hello! After some work, I finally managed to get my Hang-On cab to turn on! However it is displaying these graphical issues where it looks like only half the road is rendering, and the character sprites are just super fine-lines. I am an absolute novice when it comes to arcades; is this something that can easily just be a loose wire, wrong voltage, or is there likely a deeper problem?
