2024.11.27 04:24 nabilig Refurbished 2022 Basic vs 2024 Basic Right Now
I literally just bought the 2022 refurbished basic, and then the Black Friday deal for the 2024 basic came out… for $5 less. I wasn’t expecting more than a 10% discount.
Just based on specs they’re pretty much identical to me, and losing out on $5 isn’t that bad. I’d get black so I don’t care much for the matcha color. But, since the 2022 is refurbished, should I just return it and buy the new 2024? I haven’t noticed anything wrong with the 2022, but I’ve had it for less than a day.
Thoughts?

My younger brother can go to university and has the abilities to function like a normal person. He can usually do tasks with no issue. He can stay on top of school work and can maintain a 4.0 gpa…. He just sometimes— like he gets really sensitive, defensive, and rude when my parents ask him to do house chores or to clean up after himself because… I guess he feels like him going to school is already enough? Idk. I mean I’m not much better for that I guess…?
But to get to the point, it’s exam season for him and he’s been making so many rude comments about me dropping out and me not going to school or work and saying stuff like,
“If you just stayed in school you would’ve been making money by now.”
“If only you were still in school/ had a job…” Or stuff like,
“At least I’m not the one that’s going to let our parents be broke when they’re older.”
And he’ll give me a really dirty look for no reason. He also randomly brings up previous bad grades that I’d get because I just wouldn’t want to do any work for some classes and then obviously get low percentages since I handed nothing in.
I can’t work or go to school right now… like I dropped out of college twice after genuinely trying, about 4 and 3 years ago… and now I just don’t have the energy or mental capacity to go to work again or even do basic things to take care of myself because of my mental health… my parents are understanding of me and… maybe I’m just purposely being a victim of circumstance and I don’t know it?
Like I’m having a really hard time with everything because, initially, my parents were really against my actions and thought I was just lazy or “faking it”… because they didn’t understand either but they’ve come around to helping me get help and they’ve laid off on pressuring me once they saw how bad it was getting for me.
They know what I’m going through now with my issues and have supported me getting professional testing and help, I have severe BPD, ADHD, MDD, etc. And I’m on waitlists for therapy and also just started medication. And my brother knows this too. I thought he understood or cared but clearly he doesn’t give a damn about me. It’s like reinforcing those past feelings of me feeling like maybe I’m just faking it but I know that I genuinely just can’t do things and it’s so hurtful and conflicting in my head.
I don’t think there’s anything that I’m doing to him specifically and I just don’t know what’s triggering him to act this way towards me. Like i guess it’s my fault for just having these mental disabilities and not being able to push through? I didn’t ask to be this way.
I’m even getting these bad dreams of him attacking me and it’s just so insane, I can’t even talk to him about it because I just cry a lot, it’s so embarrassing. And also, because it’s been going on for a while, before I would get upset and I’d verbalize it ans also tell my parents about it but he denies denies denies any malice behind it and says “I’m just JOKINGGGGG” when he obviously isn’t.
Like I have no idea what to do and I think it’s messed up because I would never do that to someone else?? But maybe I’m biased? Idk… I feel helpless— like I already always feel helpless and like a failure but this is just something that I cannot deal with right now and idk how to navigate it at all.
TLDR: my brother has been so judgemental towards me for no apparent reason regarding school/work/my mental health and it’s affecting me deeply.

Hi all, not sure if this is the right sub but im here, I have a RTX 4060, Ryzen 5 7600, 32GB DDR5 ram and I'm struggling to even run stalker 2 on low graphics, ive checked multiple sights and I should be able to run the game fine on medium, hell i've seen people with my rig run the game on ultra with barely any stuttering. So why is it that my rig seems to drop to less then 10fps with constant stuttering at low, do they have some super secret setting that they turn on?

Arcane, Janna and Ekko
I can't help but think that Janna was the one responsible for manipulating the wild rune that transports Heim, Ekko and Jayce. The symbolism surrounding her and the temple, then the song To Ashes and Blood which uses a prayer to her as its main chorus was too much of a coincidence to write off as just simply fan service. I could believe that Viktor probably planned for Jayce, but I think that at least for Ekko, it was Janna who transported him to a world of a peaceful Zaun, remind him of what he wanted. Then in his final fight, look at the sky. It was clear, and a bit cloudy, but as Ekko fights a storm starts brewing in the clouds, which could be because of Viktor, but then before he gets sucked into the dreamless world, you hear and see the lightning while he looks up and he snaps out of it and saves the day (Which looks like her Eye of the storm, which also keeps in theme with how it ‘shields’ ekko from Viktor and strengthens ekko for his final blitz). I could be reaching, but I think Janna was helping Ekko since he wants to save Zaun, like how Gods don't normally directly affect mortal happening, but guided Ekko to do what was needed.
