What everything on the flag means:
Blue- The waters that surround Australia, and represents peace, our multiculturalism, and all the people who have come across the world, united as one. (The shade of blue I really like and it comes from the Eureka Flag)
Gold- Represents the lovely beaches of Australia, the scorching australian sun, and our wealth in natural beauty, and resources. (Shade of gold from our sporting colours,)
Red- Represents the land, and the outback (shade of red from the First Nations Flag)
All the colours in line resemble a beach; the sea, the coast, and the land/outback.
Stars- The biggest being the Commonwealth star, represents all the states and territories. The others are the Southern Cross stars, with the little fifth star in the middle, but in the shape of a boomerang (a symbol of the first nations people on the flag). It is combined with the Commonwealth star, the boomerang acting as a U for Unity.
This flag is different enough to warrant changing the flag, but is still recognisably Australian, with all of its colours and stars coming from Australian symbols.

2024.11.27 03:50 Living-Ideal-7898 Some advice for players who use low tier gear because they're scared of losing T8+
I've been playing Albion for a good year or so now, essentially only running mists until the SAFE portal solo camps came out, which I mainly do now.
For so long I've been playing in T6 and T7 and building silver. I would buy 10 sets at a time and store them in my bank, just so I didn't get that feeling of "fuck I died, now I've gotta go spend silver to buy that set again". Definitely a good idea, but for a while I've been wanting to play in T8+. But the fear of losing it is just baked into my brain, even with my economy being pretty strong.
What I did recently is follow some advice someone commented on this sub: Do your own personal zero to hero and just keep reinvesting what you make into your set.
So I'll buy a 5.1 set, cheap mount, cheap cape, whatever. I run BZ solo camps/mists and quickly make a profit. I generally don't take fights and just see this as the "farming phase". If you play LoL or Dota, think of this as the laning phase. Once I've got the value of my set in my inventory (so if it's a 5.1 set, like 300k or so) AFTER opening silver bags, I'll go bank. Whatever I make I'll drop into a new bank tab called "Zero to Hero". This is just to seperate what I make from the rest of my stuff. Whatever the value is of my Zero to Hero bank tab is, I'll upgrade my set. So if I go bank after doing some solo camps, and have 400k in the tab, I'll upgrade my gear to the amount of 400k. I'm just over an hour I was wearing T8, with a pest lizard mount, undead cape, etc. And the best part is, even if I die with this set, I've still objectively made a profit because I wasn't including silver bags in the amount I'm using to upgrade my set.
This process really allowed me to play in higher tier sets and not care about losing them, because I know that even if I die, I'm still better off economically than I was before I started the Zero to Hero.
I know this is probably obvious to a lot of players, but hopefully this helps out some other players who were struggling to get over that mental problem of buying an expensive set and potentially losing it.

Hello. I don’t want to view my movies/tv shows in a wall view. I like the list so I can read descriptions. I found the set views menu, but when I go to movies or tv shows all the gear icon does when I click it is show it set as wall. I would very much like it to default to list view, but can’t figure out how! TIA!

Hello, I am an emerald midlane main but get filled top often. My current champ pool is mainly Qiyana and Kat, with my more experience on Qiyana but still great with kat. Is this good enough? Or should I add a mage? When I’m filled top i play tank/bruiser kat depending on the team comp and it works 8/10 times.

My wife and I went through the Washington DC consulate to get pre-approved for temporary residency and based on a recommendation here, used a facilitator based in San Miguel de Allende. We flew into Queretaro and spent the weekend there, then hired a car service to bring us to San Miguel de Allende on Sunday with plans to meet our facilitator on Monday morning. Our FMM was immediately available to our facilitator upon going through immigration in Queretaro and she asked that we meet her at 9am Monday at INM in San Miguel de Allende. We met her a little before 9 and both of us had been called up before 945 for the first portion of the process. From there, we waited outside for about an hour and were called back in for our biometrics and photos. We walked out at 1115am with our TR cards. The SMA office is very relaxed and they all clearly knew our facilitator. Her cost was about $225 per person and I cannot stress enough how worth it that is. We had zero stress throughout the process and she explained every step to us. Happy to accept DMs for details about our process or answer any questions here.

I've been working at a hospital for about a year and things have been going fine. Had an extremely positive performance review, no issues. A couple of weeks following this, I got pulled aside about an email that an anonymous coworker wrote about me. It was full of false accusations that were built on conjecture and gossip. Several misquotes and lies. A lot of this I was able to document and disprove but now I have no trust in my coworkers. I thought I had a good relationship with everyone. Now I dread coming to work. It feels like there is a network of people studying me with the sole intent of finding another vague thing that they can turn into an accusation.
I tried applying to a different hospital and didn't get the job. I will never know if it's because gossip has reached them through cowokers who are working at both hospitals or if they are simply looking for someone with more experience. I hate this. I have always been a quiet personality who attracts bullies. I don't want to be an RT if this is what the work environment is going to be like but I have no other way to make a living.
