Which is a website well worth checking often in my opinion if you're okay with amazon-comixology sales (see below) )
Brand new to the forum so apologies if I break any rules without realizing it !
If you're okay with your comics being digital and being permanently tied to your amazon account ( a deal breaker for some people I know) there's a sale going on at comixology right now , $12 American for Born issues one through four and Punisher Max (2004) issues one through thirty all written by Garth Ennis.
While of course I'm familiar with the Punisher like any Marvel fan should be :) I admit the only two Punisher works I've read is "Welcome Back Frank" by Garth and Dillon which I thoroughly enjoyed (Marvel Knights series) and "Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe" which I also loved .. so I'm looking forward to reading this Punisher Max collection, from what I'm seeing on reddit threads it's considered a "must read" for comic fans :)

On the complete opposite end of things.. this is one of those collections people either love or hate and it's old, like 1980's to early 1990's old .. but even then I love it for Jen/She Hulk's fourth wall breaking humor and overall sense of crazy-ness.. I'm a fan of the Squirrel Girl comics and love Deadpool so no surprise there

$12 American for the She Hulk Marvel Graphic Novel #18 and Sensational She-Hulk #1-8, #31-46 and #48-50 and material from Marvel Comics Presents (1988) #18. The She Hulk Graphic Novel 18 is not so much She Hulk being funny and more a "serious" look at her (well as serious as you could get in the 1980's comics :P ) but I enjoyed reading it.
I believe the sale runs through December 2nd 2024.

 | My brother in lawās beardie, Gary, has been neglected for so long! I have been trying to rescue him from his poor care for years & today I finally got him! No more long days with no food or water; forced to catch the flies accumulating around him because of the months worth of poop in his calcium sand (a simple google search will tell you that is not healthy for them) Ugh. Iāve been sobbing for this little guy for so long. Iām grateful heās finally safe! Iāve never had a bearded dragon before. Shit, Iāve never had a reptile before, but Iāve always wanted one! If anyone has any tips that would be great! Heās currently in about a 20 gallon tank (the only one heās ever known) which he has severely outgrown. I bought him a 40 gal that I havenāt set up yet. Iām using paper towel temporarily as Iām not sure what is best. The Google said it was okay? Idk. Iāve heard 50/50 play sand & top soil is good? Help lol. And for cleaning, what should I use to sanitize the inside of the tank when changing substrate? Iām hearing mixed opinions on that as well. His tunnel was CAKED in slimy shit & dried dookey, so I had to scrub it with some super diluted dish soap. I rinsed it VERY well. Hope that is okay. Itās the newest version, with the most promising and ambitious coderāDark. He may not be the most experienced, but he has the drive, fresh perspective, and vision to push the game forward. Unlike Zeero, whoās stubborn and stuck in his ways, or Liann, whoās careless and sloppy, Dark is young and full of potential. Heās not jaded like the others, and thatās what the game needs right now.
On the other hand, naruto-arena.net is a lost cause. The original coder, Wespro, handed over the game to Liann, whoās completely burnt out. Heās just pumping out the same recycled characters with no real new ideas. Itās honestly sad to see, because the game had so much potential, but Liannās lack of care has ruined it.
Then thereās naruto-arena.app, which is in a similar state. Zeero, the creator, has also given up. The difference is, at least Zeero has the self-awareness to not release content that he knows he doesnāt care about. But even that doesnāt make it any betterāit still feels abandoned.
The bottom line is, naruto-arena.site has the most promise. It has the right team and the most care put into it. If youāre looking for a game that will grow and improve, thatās the one to play. The others are just going through the motions.

Today I was subbing at my local middle school. When I arrived, I was informed they were doing a lockdown drill during study hall. This was the first time I'd have to do this in the three years I've done this job. We were also asked to not tell the students until study hall began, and then a few minutes later it would be announced. A district evaluator and a local police officer were there to record how our performance was. So anyway, when the time comes, I tell the students to quietly get in the corner while I lock the door and turn off the lights. What happens next is what I consider the most embarrassing and disgraceful show of behavior I've ever seen from students. They proceed to loudly talk, throw items around, make obnoxious loud farting and coughing noises, all while I try to keep them quiet. When the officer came to check the door, the students began calling out that "We're in here!". Afterwards, I have to give a stern lecture to them why it's (sadly) important we do these drills and the importance of staying quiet. They tell me it doesn't matter since it was just a drill and if it was real, they'd just leave the school or climb out the window (which only open like three inches). No matter what I try to explain, they couldn't show less respect than they what they gave to me. And as the cherry on top, I was then pulled into the admin office after school was out and had to explain my student's behavior to the district evaluator and officer. Thankfully, they understood I tried my best and it wasn't my fault. But that class will be getting a very stern talking to come after the break. All I hope is that if an actual emergency happens, those students show better self preservation skills than they did today.
