2024.11.27 03:30 Slobsterz I was in suspension wave!

I am a 2750 resto druid that exclusively pugs m+. I am in the 11-12 range of keys and the amount of dps that don’t interrupt and won’t use defensives is staggering. I have stuck out many runs. And even been praised for being patient and kind.
However, I’m trying to get to 3k. If you are 2500 + the only reason to do 11s and up is to increase rating. I have left a handful of runs every week but never ones that are close. But if I’m in a CoT 12 and we have 6 deaths before first boss and we wasted lust and the tank is flaming dps and I’m getting hit by web bolt after web bolt I’m out.
When it’s clear the dps is going to stand in bad and not interrupt or use defensives I’m not going to waste my time sticking around for 40 minutes when I have an hour or two to play. Or if the tank is going to keep pulling when I’m low on mana and flame on me for not being able to keep people up with 2% mana while massive aoes go out I’m leaving.
To be clear I literally have posts on this sub praising me specifically for being genuinely kind and good at rdruid. M+ is extremely toxic and I live the pug life. And while many think this is a good step I think it’s going to make it even harder to find groups for dps because now no one will take a chance on the groups. My account has been around since before bgs in vanilla. I have never been suspended or been given a warning for leaving. Healing m+ was already a nightmare and all this suspension has done for me is make my mind up that I’m done with retail. The complete lack of community and people thinking doing 6 million dps with 0 interrupts is ok is baffling. So m+ used to be my favorite part of the game. But I’m not going to be held hostage by terrible groups and people trying to be carried in content with little to no margin for error. And I know I’m not the only tank or healer that feels this way. Classic it is.

2024.11.27 03:30 JokerCardEXE This game is soul draining.

So i got to act 3 and honestly, this game is nothing but a slog. I'm not enjoying this anymore, in the beginning I was like 'yeah I'm weak so everything is uphill' but I'm currently level 11 and I'm still constantly getting my teeth kicked in. Like I get preparing for things but this game is basically asking me to constantly respec characters constantly. The action economy feels so out of whack and i feel so utterly outclassed. Like I get why this game is amazing, but right now I feel like it was a waste of money.
