What are my odds of getting into MIT? I am a low income first generation 6 foot Asian male applying as an electrical engineer.
I go to a tiny high school in a tiny town in LA (not Los Angeles)
Reasons I am cool -36 ACT -6 foot -4.0 GPA (school doesn’t weight) -school had no APs so I took 5 at another school. Made 5,5,5,5,4. Taking more this year -3 varsity sports-leader in 2 -lots of family restaurant responsibilities -national honor society 😇 -YouTube content creator—used to be the number one player in a game- 3 million views and 10k subscribers -6 foot -won LHSRA state competition every year. Probably gonna win again this year because I’m like that -track state champion a few years -private tutoring -did an internship -6 foot -National merit semifinalist -student gov vice president -those college board national recognition awards -ap scholar -some goofy ahh school awards like honor roll and most talented (most rizz too) -6 foot -my essays showed who I was, no fancy language or creative metaphors. I had to stop being so nonchalant and show some emotion in them. I think they’re 9/10 -letter of rec 10/10. my teacher liked me so much she let me read it and make sure it was perfect (prob cuz im 6 foot) -I got into the fly in program too
Please be honest guys but do not be too mean. I think a lot of 6’1+ people will be accepted over me so I think I have a 5% chance.

With the holidays quickly approaching I would love to keep up my tradition of board games for my students. With this year being much more difficult for my families and the local community I am asking for a little extra support.
After Hurricane Helene many students have lost everything and been displaced. Our school district more than doubled the amount of students who are experiencing homelessness.
We have been supported by local and national organizations that helped bring in essential supplies and resources to those most in need.
I want my students to make new memories with their families and heal from the trauma many experienced. I’m including an Amazon wish list of board games and weighted stuffed animals.

Contexto: Eu sou uma menina trans de 20 e poucos anos. Sem passabilidade. Vivo fazendo "cisplay", uso nome morto e pronomes masculinos, finjo que sou menino, pra minha tristeza e ódio.
Moro com uma avó paranóica. Dessas que dão fins em todas as chaves da casa pra que ninguém se tranque. Dessas que olham suas coisas. Ela é realmente muito paranóica especialmente com remédio.
Eu estava tomando meus hormônios em pílula há uns dois meses. Guardava antigamente num urso meu, mas acho que durante uma limpeza da minha mãe do meu quarto, pode ter caído. Minha mãe provavelmente achou e jogou fora ao limpar, o que é normal, não teve nada demais, eu achei minha segunda cartela e voltei com minha terapia hormonal.
Por descuido meu hoje, meu hormônio que eu carrego comigo eu coloquei em cima da minha cama, com um monte de coisa. Ela achou e me perguntou o que era e eu falei que não sabia, que deveria ser algum remédio antigo meu ou algo assim. Ela disse um não, e eu falei que era da minha tia eu achava. Aí eu fiz que lembrei que há alguns dias atrás eu tinha achado na porta da minha casa e que peguei pra ninguém tomar, mas não sei de quem é.
Ela pegou e disse que vai investigar. Ela é meio ignorante, então talvez não saiba que seja pra transicionar, mas... Eu tô com medo dela descobrir tudo. E pior, mesmo que não descubra, eu não quero desfazer a transição. Meu corpo começou a ficar mais delicado agora e eu não quero perder a autoestima que eu criei pra mim.
Alguém, por favor me ajuda. Eu não sei o que fazer, não posso abrir o jogo, não tenho ninguém ou onde ficar. Não pode ser agora. As mudanças foram poucas, só minha pele melhorando e meu rosto começando a mudar. Mas... Eu não quero perder isso. Eu tô com medo.
