I realize a lot of gamers are in different age demographics. Iām on the older side. Played the earliest arcade games.
But itās just pixels. I donāt get emotional. I blow through most heavy story options and skip to me shooting ppl and the fixer complaining.
Thereās a LOT of posts on romance this and that and in my zillion playthroughs Iāve maybe done a few romance scenes and felt like a mega dweeb.
Is everyone a free love V or is there a silent majority/minority who thinks games is for Total Carnage and attempts at lovey dovey make us realize weāre still single? And/or thereās a real life SO right there and we donāt need substitutes.

I couldnāt really find much in search so I hope this post is ok!
I was recently diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer. The day I got home from the hospital, I got a call from a nurse employed by my insurance company. Sheās called me once a week since just to check in. Sheās super nice and I donāt feel awkward talking to her and sheās been helpful so far, and I know that they are in place to assist with making sure youāre getting the right care and potentially help you find cheaper alternative treatments.
My question is, has anyone had good or bad experiences using them as a resource? Obviously being new to all of this, I want to accept all the help being offered to me, but I also donāt want to put myself at risk of being taken advantage of. On one hand, this person knows the system way better than I do, but on the other, I worry that sheās only looking out for the needs of my insurance company and not my best interests in the long-term. So just looking for any pros and cons that people might have who have worked with them before. Thank you!

In summer of this year I joined a friend group to play online with. One of the guys is super religious, I didn't really care at the start because most of the other guys in the friend group are really cool and have many of the same interests as me. Recently the guy started bringing more of JESUS into our chats in the group. Whenever we played he would be annoying and basically only talk about god. Yesterday he made a joke about how "atheists would not be denying god once they face enternal punishment" or something. Idk how to tell him how to tell him that the joke is rude, and his shit Is annoying without coming off as a bitch
