Bought a 07 vstar this year and it’s gotten too cold to ride it. Storing it in a non-insulated shed for the winter because I have no better options. Any special prep I should do? All I got when I looked it up online was conflicting statements, everything from brake the bike down into its parts and store it in the kitchen to just leave it and it will be fine. Any tips you guys have that have helped?

This is out of the blue or maybe I just overlooked red flags the whole time well I did notice a couple but I honestly haven’t been in the dating game for years until recently. So I was seeing this guy casually per his request he wanted to work on himself blah blah bs at first I was like whatever let’s just keep hooking up and acting like we are together I’m lonely type of thing but than obvious feelings developed on my end can’t speak for his side.
We were seeing eachother for 7 months on and off but never longer than a few weeks of the off. And just recently we were together twice a week and texting everyday so Nov 11th was the last time we spoke he messaged me Goodmorning like he usually does and we talk a bit mind you we had a sleepover the day before and we were talking about us staying up late and playing Mario kart.
He jokingly says you caught up on sleep cause you aren’t getting spanked on Mario kart and I replied Lol noo it’s because I was up late and somebody woke me up at 7am he needed his old man tea. He said back “whatever I can run off any amount of sleep” so I started flirting with him to be funny cute I replied “also come spank me…. In Mario kart”
He said back “haha haven’t you lost enough” and that’s the last I ever heard from him I did reply and I said “I ain’t talking about Mario kart ;)” did I say something wrong ? Like wow it’s been eating me alive. I even tried to text him thinking he got busy but let’s be Forreal he obviously was avoiding me at that point so I texted him two days later to see what was going on I casually said “Hii” and than hours pass by so I said “are you okay?” No response I gave him about 4 days until I just blocked him because what the hell.
Anytime he left my message without replying he would reply the next day but this time it’s different and he hasn’t done this before so it was unexpected for me.
I have unblocked him but still haven’t heard from him and it’s been two weeks now.

Just a casual follower of this sub and other hiphop/rap subs. As I scrolled through my feed the last day or two I've seen some posts here making fun of hype Kendrick fans rn and clowning their posts and whatnot but I think ya'll gotta take a step back and think about how big of a year this is for Kendrick, like the Super Bowl Halftime? That's huge for an artist. A lot of ya'll would be acting goofy too. Also, Drake is music to distract the masses and keep mf's on a negative wavelength. Deals with gambling apps, crazy ego, etc. Even Ye was saying this for years. I see it as a huge W for Kendrick to do what he did to that dude. Seems lame to start clowning Kendrick's success here.

I’ve been eyeing the Firehawk Indy 500 mainly due to being on the more budget friendly side. Wondering if anyone has any experience with these and can tell me their experience with them. my boyfriend and i have been together for over 2 years. we were long distance for a year, then we moved in together for a year, and now, because of other reasons, my parents came to livr with me for 3 months and my boyfriend had to leave. although it's only been 20 days since we were last together and we're still in the same state, it has felt like an eternity and the distance still hurts. i miss him with all my heart. i was supposed to go see him today. he was so excited, he had already even left to go to the airport before my flight even took off. but i had been feeling anxious about going, because of my parents. i have strict asian parents, the type that are old fashioned and conservative. although they know i have a boyfriend, they aren't the happiest about it, and unfortunately i'm not in the position to stand up to them yet, both because i'm not brave enough, and because i'm not financially independent yet. and they're still my parents, i love them. i had lied to my parents that i was visiting some friends. they weren't very happy about it, but they let me go. but i had been feeling guilty about it for days, to the point where i even dreamt that my flight got canceled. i also felt guilty because my parents aren't from here and they don't speak english, so while i was gone they would just be stuck in my apartment for days, especially after a few days ago when i refused to go with them to lunch with some relatives and sent them on an uber, which broke down in the middle of the freeway and they were so scared because they couldn't speak english and i felt so bad. i felt like i was abandoning them in a country where they don't know the language and know almost nobody, and i felt like a horrible daughter.
i brought it up to my boyfriend before i left for the airport. i told him this morning that i was feeling anxious and guilty. he said he understood, and he felt really bad that i was in this position, and he said he wouldn't be upset at all if i decided to just stay. but i had promised to go see him, and i didn't want to break his heart. i really really missed him too, and i just wanted to be in his arms. but i felt so so torn between my duty as a daughter and my love for my boyfriend. when i left for the airport, my flight was delayed for an hour. and then another hour. and when i was waiting for the airport shuttle to take me to my gate, there was something wrong with the shuttle or something and it wasn't coming. it just felt like one bad omen after another, like god was punishing me for abandoning my parents, and i broke down crying. i couldn't do it. i called my boyfriend and i told him i think i might head home. god, i have the kindest, most understanding and patient boyfriend in the world. he wasn't upset at all. he assured me he understood, that he just wanted me to be okay, and he would come see me next week instead. i just cried at the airport for 30 minutes. it felt like i either had to be a bad daughter or a bad girlfriend, and in the end i became a bad girlfriend. i ended up going back home without getting on the plane, and my boyfriend also went home without me by his side. i feel so horrible right now and i don't know if i made the right decision. part of me regrets it, because i could be in his arms right now, but i think if i went, i would have been anxious and have a guilty cloud hanging over me the whole time. still, i just miss him so much and wish i just said fuck it and got on the plane. even though he said he'll try to come see me next week, i just feel like such a jerk for getting his hopes up and making him waste his time only to go back home alone.
70 days until we can truly close the distance again. it never gets easier.

I am starting a three year B.A at Tel Aviv University this year. I want to make Aliyah and draft when I finish my degree in summer of 2026. Since I will be 21 when I finish, I would like to draft immediately after graduating as to mitigate the age gap between me and the people I will be serving in as much as possible.
But, I also want to do Yom Sayerot with the hopes of getting Gibbush Matkal or Shayetet.
Hypothetically…
Let's say I make Aliyah the summer before my final year of university, do Yom Sayerot and gibbush matkal or shayetet during the academic year. I get selected for a unit that drafts multiple times per year (I know elite units draft once a year in November), and one of those drafts is before I graduate from university. Will the army let me do a later draft date so I can finish my degree? I’m basically trying to work out if I can make Aliyah and start the drafting process while I’m in school, or if I have to wait until graduating to make it work.
Also on a somewhat unrelated note, will having a academic degree and almost fluent arabic help my prospects of getting into an elite unit or does it not really matter?
