This may be a stupid question so pls forgive me in advance. Im curious if its possible to cut a sink in half and still use one half of the sink as a functioning sink without too much damage to the overall look and construction of sink? I was given a cast iron double sink 33 inches randomly a stranger while I was hauling some stuff I found on the curb. I fell in love with the sink but the only thing is I need 24 inch sink bc I have a small kitchen and I dont need 33 inches its just too big for the space so I was wondering if I could somehow cut it smoothly so I can just use one half of it?

I've been building a home server and I've been setting it up to replace the Raspberry Pi 5 I've been running openmediavualt, docker and plex on.
Now that I'm just about done it's given me the idea to do something with my old hardware. I've got this RPI 5 8gb, a RPI 4 4gb, and a bmax b1 pro.
If you've got these or something similar after setting up a new server what fun stuff have you done with them? Batocera game player is the first idea I have for the RPI 5.

Okay second try under a different subreddit 🙄… bc apparently people think this is bs. But basically the past two weeks i’ve experienced shortness of breath, and chest tightness. i go to the doctor they do a chest x-ray, ekg, etc. They find my tonsils are swollen and the x-ray revealed bronchiole inflammation. I’m like 90% sure this is due to vaping for 4 years. I started to cough up a ton of mucus last year and it’s gotten worse as my breathing has gotten worse. Anyways, so I am using albuterol that they prescribed, taking mullein gummies, and drinking this respitory tea. i’ve also stopped vaping as of yesterday. Basically just wanted to start a conversation if anybody else has experienced this or has suggestions. Everyone under the vaping subreddit just agreed that this isn’t possible, popcorn lung isn’t real etc. But if ur lungs can collapse from vaping… im sure u can get inflammation from it too. Not sure if they’re all just so addicted that they don’t want to consider the possibility that it’s harmful but yeah mini rant. If it is in fact not possible for me to get inflammation from vaping please provide actual evidence. Cause I have no illnesses or anything just extra hard for me to breathe when i exercise and literally hurts to vape, and have been coughing up a ton of mucus.

2024.11.27 06:30 Individual-Feeling96 [S2 Spoilers] Might be Cope: I think I know why there wasn’t any interaction between them after the scene at the beginning of E9
So after act 3 of Arcane, I’ve been thinking about why the show didn’t really show any Ekko/Jinx interactions after he saves her in episode 9. I think I may have finally figured it out, and it essentially boils down to 2 main reasons.
The first, which I think is a lesser factor, is that the show writers didn’t want to mess up such an intimate moment as Ekko and Jinx reconnecting, cutting each others hair, painting each other and Jinx joining the firelights. Maybe they felt like they didn’t have enough time to properly explore this relationship and would rather leave it up to imagination/fanfic than not do it justice and piss everyone off. The reason I think it’s a bit less likely is because the show writers showed that they were willing to push Cait/Vi at a relatively fast pace, despite being an important ship to many people.
Ok, the second, and I believe more important reason, is because I think they were taking a big risk with this timebomb thing to begin with. From what I’ve seen (not a LOL player, just love Arcane), it was only after act 3, that Timebomb really took off. So before that, it was really a minority of people who ride hard for the ship (really apparent by the boom in timebomb ships after act 3 compared to before). To me, this means that the show writers were quite unsure how people would react to Timebomb (which IMO was way less established than Cait/Vi before season 2). An additional piece of evidence I don’t see people mentioning is that, tbh, serious timebomb moments ONLY appeared in act 3 of season 2, which also happens to be the last act of the entire show (or so we are told). This to me, almost feels like a “ask my crush out on the last day of school” moment, where the show writers really wanted to do timebomb, but weren’t sure if everyone would like it (hence giving an escape route with Jinx’s “death” and no actual showing of intimacy in the MU, just in case everyone hated it and they needed to end that story quickly). I feel like there’s no other reason to leave Jinx (but especially Ekko’s) storyline so unfinished, unless they plan to continue it. I mean clearly, important people on the show (Reed and Amanda for example) are huge timebomb shippers as well as other riot insiders (social media for other riot games), so they obviously wanted it to happen but needed to see how the fanbase would react first. From what Ive heard, Riot Games, who is definitely not perfect (as a valorant player I would know 😊), is still more responsive to fan input than other game companies, so I feel like this line of thinking falls right in line with their nature.
So what of this, if true? Well, now I think it’s pretty clear that Riot has gotten the green light for timebomb (and best believe they will milk the shit out of it for maximum profit). Therefore, I think we can be hopeful for another show more centered about the ship, possibly announced soonish (to best capitalize on the high, its better to do something soon).
TLDR: Riot wanted to see how we would react to the ship, before they push it further.

2024.11.27 06:30 Imaginary-Suspect285 Bad hard drive
So, to start I bought a second hand hard drive (I know, not the smartest)
It is a 2tb Barracuda HDD. When connected it was formatted in fat32 and seemed to be working. Although I wanted to format it just to just clear the drive. I noticed that this seemed to be a boot drive probably from a scrap computer, I wasn’t able to just delete the partition so I looked up how to do that and used disk part delete part override.
At this point the hard drive popped up seemingly good to go to format, when I tried it popped up IO error and the drive was clicking. After rebooting, unhooking, switching cables nothing has seemed to fix the issue.
After all this I realized I should have just used killdisk from the beginning and tried to just do that. Tried and true. Except it popped up sector error and Terminated the erase.
Anyway to fix this or did I brick it? 😅
