2024.11.27 06:30 Imaginary-Suspect285 Bad hard drive
So, to start I bought a second hand hard drive (I know, not the smartest)
It is a 2tb Barracuda HDD. When connected it was formatted in fat32 and seemed to be working. Although I wanted to format it just to just clear the drive. I noticed that this seemed to be a boot drive probably from a scrap computer, I wasn’t able to just delete the partition so I looked up how to do that and used disk part delete part override.
At this point the hard drive popped up seemingly good to go to format, when I tried it popped up IO error and the drive was clicking. After rebooting, unhooking, switching cables nothing has seemed to fix the issue.
After all this I realized I should have just used killdisk from the beginning and tried to just do that. Tried and true. Except it popped up sector error and Terminated the erase.
Anyway to fix this or did I brick it? 😅

When I hang out with Merida and go gather Snippets - she starts walking away, then spins and spins, disappears into the Bind, then the snippet birds just appear with no glitter. Anyone else? I’ve noticed this every day.
On one hand I find it hilarious to watch. On the other… Sometimes I want to get my task done so I can get to 10000!
Also - Inkies task isn’t registering when I clean up inkies regardless of the size inkies.
Additionally, I completed some Quests where I received mail that referenced “take this” as a thanks - but nothing was there. 😭
I’m in love with this DLC overall but ooooo the buggie bugs. What else are you all noticing?

I took the annual black Friday bait and grabbed an annual license, after searing I wouldn't do it, but I caved lol
My choices were a Dream Machine Pro for 5 years, or annual Zenarmor for 5 yrs - I was leaning toward the machine, as I am not well-versed in networking, and where it seems easier to work with, but after everything that I've learned with Opnsense, I took the plunge and signed-up with Zenarmor.
NB, I know you don't need Zenarmor to run an effective firewall /router with Opnsense, but I sort-of got attached to Zenarmors device and other panels ...
- hope I don't regret it, though I've been mostly satisfied with running Opnsense on Proxmox, in-that I can clone, backup, snapshot etc, etc. - even though it can be very challenging to rationalize the routing/networking side of things when the hypervisor goes down - thus leading me to think, I might do better with a dual setup?

I'm in high school, I've been doing percusion as a whole for 2 years, but my problems are with traditional grip, nobody seems to want to teach me how to do it properly because they don't think I'm serious about joining indoor (I want to switch from keyboard) but the thing is that our school's drumline is really, really bad and inexperienced as well. We only have one senior who actually knows what he's doing and next year he'll be gone so a snare spot will be open. I'm hoping that indoor will let me become more familiar with traditional grip, but the thing is that to be able to play snare in indoor, i need to know traditional

I have a double drive-in garage that has been paved on a slope to meet the backyard, the concrete is up against the foundations of the house. The house is built on brick walls, and there doesn't appear to be a solid slab underneath, just a concrete border.
For the garage to be level, it would need to drop by ~1.5m, is it feasible to do this without the side of the house giving way, knowing that we would need to put in some sort of retaining wall/additional concrete, and is this something that needs to be overseen by an civil engineer of sorts?
I've got the ability to dig out the dirt, and concrete/install retaining wall, but don't have the engineering/building know-how - so any help would be appreciated!

I was watching the clip channel when Atroic brought up that statistic, and I believe it has to be skewed in some way. When I was in high school, my economics class did a similar experiment, and the average wage to be successful came out to something like 93k. This was a few years ago, and I suspect it would have risen to 100k by now, but that is drastically different compared to 600k.
While its anecdotal, I have never met someone from Gen Z who thought it was anything close to even 300k, if anything, most of them still use the 100k a year benchmark. The only group of young people I’ve heard of who say those astronomical wages are kids from Ivy League schools whose parents are extremely wealthy. Obviously, they do not represent the average person.
Anyway, I think that number is way off, and I’d love to hear what other people from Gen Z think their yearly salary to be successful is.

Hey After the soft wipe me and some friends wanna play in a squad of about 6-8 ppl. When we first created a squad only 4 of us could join at the time. I learned that it scales with the INT stat of the leader. So I wanted to ask if someone could recommend a stat build for the leader in character creation so all of us can get in the squad. I know you can increase the INT stat with those implant but that’s not rly an option for us atm. Tyvm for your help.

Someone educate me better on this . YES I researched but I’m still confused . I’m aware of the rep spirit airlines has . I saw 16 hours ago how some of the fleets was airbus A320neo was grounded for Pratt & Whitney engine issues?but when researching from that 16 hours ago uodate it went back as far as 6 years ago? Anyways why is spirit still flying if this is a thing ? Or is this only certain aircraft as the others have different engines ? I just couldn’t find more info on it . Thanks !
