2024.11.27 07:40 Single_Beyond_8832 Bad news bears

My heart broke today as I got not one but two bad news from my friends. Sometimes I feel life really is backwards and unfair. I’m holding on to my faith by a hair strand… I’m praying 🙏🏾 for both my friends to be blessed and comforted knowing one day things will not be full of suffering and heartbreak 💔. Jesus will come and wipe away all our tears! With the each new sunrise there’s hope for a better day, hang in there my beloved friends!!

2024.11.27 07:40 EngemannTimothy How I Landed My Biggest Client Through a DM

Freelancing is a wild ride, right? 🌟 Sometimes, opportunities come knocking in the most unexpected ways. For me, it all started with a casual DM that I almost ignored.
I’d just posted a piece of my work on LinkedIn—nothing flashy, just something I was proud of. A few days later, I got a message from someone asking if I was available for a project. Honestly, I thought it was spam at first (you know how it is 😅).
Turns out, it wasn’t. They needed a writer for a high-stakes campaign and liked my style. We hopped on a quick call, and within a week, I was working on my biggest project yet. Not only did it pay well, but it also opened the door to even more gigs and connections.
The moral? Put yourself out there. Share your work. Engage with people. You never know when the right person will stumble across what you’ve got to offer.

2024.11.27 07:40 clawsandtalons LF: Zeraora, FT: Request

Hey casual friendos! I’m looking for a Zeraora (English), shiny or not, to stand in for when one is properly released and to help towards the nationaldex :) I have a vast collection of legends and shinies that I have caught (no funny business, all obtained as intended by the game makers), as well as a some boxes of shinies/legends/shiny-legends from the good old 3DS days (these are all traded, can not guarantee they aren’t cloned or hacked).
If anyone has a Zeraora they could trade me please give me a list of Pokémon you are looking for and I’ll see if any of them are available :)

2024.11.27 07:40 Uriel0424 Short Review : "If we were Vilains" - M.L Rio

I’ve got another short book recommendation for you today. So we've got a if we were Villains by M.L Rio. This is categorized as dark academia. It definitely has a murder mystery and facets to it and it's a really enjoyable read. So without giving away too much, I will read the synopsis or part of it at least, just to get it [started. So Oliver Marks has just served 10 years for murder that he may or may not have committed on the day of his release. He's greeted by the detective who put him in prison. Detective Colborn is retiring and he wants to know what really happened a decade before. So this book follows a group of students who studying and theater, specifically Shakespeare.
So the book is heavily revolving around their life at boarding school, studying and the friendships within that and a lot of theater talk which really excited me about this book because I am one Shakespeare nerd. So you had me at Shakespeare when I read this. And basically, there is a murder. One of their friends are murdered. And Oliver has just gotten out of prison.
And we follow his story throughout the events to the date of his release. So it sounds very simple, but there are quite a few psychological twists and turns. I found that it was exceptionally well-written and because of the author, M.L Rio was also a Shakespearean student, so really had first hand experience about writing, about the environment, friendships and Shakespeare itself.
It was a really enjoyable read. Highly recommended. If you're into dark academia and Shakespeare. Let me know if you're going to read it. If you've read it. And if you want a little bit of a deeper dive into this book where we talk about characters and at just my general feelings about it.

2024.11.27 07:40 Aladdin73 First time seller question

As the title says, this is my first time selling on ebay.
I'm selling my used iPhone and not sure when am I supposed to ship the phone.
Should I ship the item immediately if a buyer pays, or should I wait for eBay to deposit the money into my account?
As a first-time seller on eBay, how long does it typically take for the money to be deposited into my checking account?

2024.11.27 07:40 mellomschmomsen This cute little bastard put his daddy in the hospital.

This cute little bastard put his daddy in the hospital. My SO got bitten when he tried to stop little bastard man from crawling back under the couch. He was going to the vet and we had to put him in his carrier. He went to the doctor and got penicillin, but yesterday hos hand got more and more swollen and he went back to the doctor. So now he is in the hospital on an antibiotic drip to avoid sepsis.
Remember boys and girls, take a cat bite seriously.
(Btw, we are in no shape or form blaming the cat, he just got scared. He is really a little cuddle bug).

2024.11.27 07:39 maxikaz19 Is converting crypto the same as selling?

Understanding the difference: Is converting crypto the same as selling? In the rapidly evolving world of cryptocurrency, many users often find themselves navigating complex terminologies and processes. A common question that arises is whether converting cryptocurrency is the same as selling it. This inquiry is essential for both novice and experienced traders, as understanding these concepts can significantly impact trading strategies and financial outcomes.
What does It mean to convert crypto? Converting cryptocurrency refers to the process of exchanging one type of cryptocurrency for another. For instance, if you hold Bitcoin (BTC) and wish to acquire Ethereum (ETH), you would convert your BTC into ETH. This process can occur on various platforms, including exchanges like Bybit, which facilitate seamless conversions between different cryptocurrencies.

What Does It Mean to Sell Crypto? Selling cryptocurrency, on the other hand, generally refers to the act of exchanging a cryptocurrency for fiat currency or another asset. When you sell crypto, you are liquidating your digital assets into cash or a stablecoin.
Key Differences Between Converting and Selling Crypto To clarify the distinctions further, consider the following comparisons:
Aspect Converting Crypto Selling Crypto
Definition Exchanging one cryptocurrency for another Exchanging cryptocurrency for fiat money
Involvement of Fiat No fiat currency involved Involves fiat currency
Purpose Portfolio diversification Liquidation of assets
Tax Implications Generally no tax implications May incur capital gains taxes
When should you convert instead of selling? Choosing to convert rather than sell can be strategic in several scenarios:
Using Bybit for Crypto Transactions Bybit is an excellent platform for both converting and selling cryptocurrencies. As one of the leading exchanges globally, Bybit offers various features that cater to all types of traders.
How to convert or sell on Bybit Using Bybit for converting or selling cryptocurrencies is straightforward:
  1. Create an Account: Register on Bybit and complete the necessary KYC (Know Your Customer) verification process.
  2. Deposit Funds: Deposit your desired cryptocurrency into your Bybit wallet. You can transfer assets from other exchanges or wallets with minimal fees.
  3. Choose Your Action:
    • To convert, navigate to the spot trading section and select the pair you wish to trade (e.g., BTC/ETH). Enter the amount you want to convert and execute the trade.
    • To sell, go to the sell option under spot trading, select your asset (e.g., BTC), enter the amount you wish to sell, and choose your preferred fiat currency if applicable.
  4. Withdraw Funds: After converting or selling your assets, you can withdraw your fiat currency or other cryptocurrencies back to your wallet or bank account as needed.
In summary, while converting crypto and selling crypto may seem similar at first glance, they serve distinct purposes within the cryptocurrency ecosystem. Converting focuses on exchanging one digital asset for another without involving fiat currencies, whereas selling involves liquidating assets into cash or stablecoins.
Understanding these differences is crucial for effective trading strategies and financial planning in the crypto space. Platforms like Bybit offer comprehensive tools for both activities, making it easier for users to manage their investments efficiently while ensuring security and ease of use.
Whether you're looking to diversify your portfolio through conversions or cash out through sales, Bybit stands out as a reliable choice in the ever-changing landscape of cryptocurrency trading.

Anyone know where I could find a black shiny structured mini dress with a flared bottom? I’m looking for an hourglass kind of shape/flare at the bottom. Satin texture preferred. I want it to be all one material/texture and no lines or visible seams that cuts into a skirt.

2024.11.27 07:39 Altruistic_Spite_930 Final Call Nov 2024: Pakistan Army has seized the bodies of dozens of martyred civilians, several protestors are missing, CCTV footages have been seized, roads are being washed to hide the facts and casualities

In the late evening of 26 November, Pakistani Army paramilitary, Rangers, shot more than 100 pro democracy protesters in Islamabad’s D-Chowk. However just like the fictional rendition of “1928 Banana Massacres” in Garcia’s “One Hundred Years of Solitude” Pakistan Army took possession of dead bodies and has washed the crime scene. Pakistani papers are merely reporting that protestors dispersed after shelling. Killings by snipers is not being admitted. Whole crime is being written off from the memory. But everyone knows. Enormity of the crime demands an International Commission under UN to investigate and consider sanctions against Pakistan Army & present Govt from the US, UK and EU - however since bodies have been taken away & news portals silenced by force no exact figures will be available to International Media & News Agencies, they may end up reporting a much smaller figure. Army touts will start disputing figures of dead as part of their strategy. I appeal to all International Media & HR organizations to take time to investigate this. This state crime is unprecedented even in a disturbed country like Pakistan!

Hi all,
Can you get FA bumps on your scalp ?
I often get these itchy pinkish bumps (they rarely come to a head) on my scalp and I feel like they get worse when my non FA safe conditionner touches my scalp.
Can it be FA or is it something else ?
Thanks.
