Especially those who have experienced years of headache trying to prove service connection.
Tell your friends the facts: go to the doctor, even once a year, and even if they have no pain. Keep up to date with their medical. It is that simple from making a simple claim taking 5 years to prove to immediately getting proven, even if it's 0% rating initially.
I struggled with MH for the entirety of my two contracts, and therapy helped so much. I now am living something more resembling a normal stable life thanks to my rating and if it wasn't for that, I'd be homeless, or worse.
I know an NCO currently serving who claim "joe's don't need to go to the doctor for their first time term. They are just trying to get out of work". And it makes me so angry. I have friends who won't go in because "the doctor is for "weaklings" ".
TBH i didn't know anything of VA benefits, but I was homeless before the military and had no health insurance. Of course I'm gonna use it!
Getting physical twice in a 4 year contract, or seeing a BH specialist once, or going to sick call once for the smallest thing can be the difference of years trying to prove service connection.
I encourage veterans, tell your friends gently. Go see the doctor once a year, once every six months, when you have a headache, when you feel sick, when you feel slightly depressed. Please.

Hey, so I’m currently looking at 034 and ie tunes for the mk7.5 golf r. I have an 034 motorsport dongle from my mk5 gti which is a plus because I have that ready, but I feel like i’m missing something. While IE claims to be making 365hp on stage 1, and 431 on stage 2 (93), 034 claims to be making 377hp on stage 1, and 386, almost identical, on stage 2. Anyone have experience with this, or any info as to why this is? I have heard 034 likes to keep their tunes more reliable, but this is a fairly big difference.

No research Since my profile is just average, im doubting my chances at MSCS at a really good school(Upenn, Umass amherst,Stony brook etc), should i apply for MIS just to have a better chance of going to a better college? Hey! So I work at a cafe and there’s this girl who comes in a few times a week. I’d always thought she was pretty and she’s really nice and tutors two little girls there. I try to be as nice as possible but not necessarily flirtatious, because I wasn’t sure if she liked me or was just being nice. I’d do things for her like bring their drinks to them and clean up when the kids make a mess. About 4-5 days ago I was in the cafe on my off day and she came in and I offered to buy her drinks, but she said her work pays for it. And then she said that I was really really nice and that we should hangout sometime. I was about to ask for her number but she had to chase after the kid and left. (Sorry this is getting long😬) she came into the cafe two days ago and we had our usual smiles and small talk and then I gave her my number on a piece of paper and told her to text me and she said “YES! For sure!” But she hadn’t texted me. I might’ve written the number wrong honestly.
Now the part that I need advice for! Next time I see her, I want to tell her plainly how I feel; I think she’s very sweet and nice and beautiful and I want to go out with her. Should I? If so, how should I do it without making a big fool of myself?

My husband and I agreed to ST starting this week and it has been a terrible experience, solely because he watched TCB and is convinced we cannot feed our baby when he cries.
Background: Our baby is 4m 3w, EBF, and the falling asleep itself in the beginning of the night has been just fine! Extra wakings have almost disappeared, but I am NOT night weaning as he is still taking substantial feedings twice a night and has been consistently doing so though often at different time intervals.
TCB has him convinced we need to wake him up for each feeding at set times even though we are NOT night weaning and I do not think his feed to sleep association is really a huge issue at this time. Night 1 he cried for an HOUR after waking for his second feeding before I broke and fed him. Night 3 a similar situation happened. In my mind, of COURSE he is going to start waking at these set times to eat because we are putting him on a schedule. My husband claims I’m ruining sleep training if I feed him when he cries.
How do we properly do a modified Ferber without night weaning and letting him handle night weaning on his own? I really think he will drop night feedings himself once he gets this down a little better,. But how is this done? Do we just feed right away when he cries after it’s been 4+ hours?
