Ela tem sonhos, ambições, ela quer um futuro onde tenhamos uma vida boa; o que é normal, todos nós queremos uma vida boa, queremos ter um carro bacana, um celular bom, roupas boas, uma casa bem arrumada; até aí tudo bem, mas eu não consigo ter essa ambição, essa vontade de ter, na verdade, eu não quero nada, é como se eu não tivesse motivos para viver, e isso tem tomado frente em nossas discussões e inflamado minhas crises depressivas ultimamente, às vezes sinto que não a ajudo, somente a puxo para baixo (se é que entendem), faço acompanhamento psico-terapêutico, mas sobre esse assunto em específico, não tenho percebido evolução de minha parte.

 | My laptop: Lenovo IdeaPad 5 2-in1- 14AHP9 We bought it just a few months ago so it's obviously still brand new. One day an alert or something popped up and says my laptop isn't working properly or something and then tried to reset itself. After it tried to power on, the menu on the video started to appear, "please select boot device" and i can't get pass it because if i select one of the given options, it just resets just like in the video. Now i tried to look it up on youtube but It said that I have to "UEFI" to "Legacy" but apparently my laptop only uses UEFI. Does anyone recognize the problem? Got overwhelmed in ARC, repaired the ARC like crazy to keep it up against multiple Tigers and grenadiers, and then all of a sudden we get the timer for extract. Even while the extract timer was going, it was saying things like "ARC is at 50% / 75%" etc...
Is this...intended in some way? Are we not supposed to be able to repair the ARC?

i'll be honest, this is going to be more than a rant than anything because my anxiety has become unbearable. this is in amsterdam.
after being absolutely miserable for more than a year, last month i managed to move to a much better place. i couldn't afford paying the full rent long term, so before signing the contract i made sure i had enough for the first two-three months, that i would qualify for rent benefit, and that my parents could help me in case everything went wrong.
however, i can't ask for the allowance - for any kind of benefit, really - because apparently the previous tenant didn't register at their new place and didn't even consider warning me.
i noticed that mijnoverheid reported two people living at my address. i contacted the municipality, thinking i might have made a mistake when compiling the online form, but i also asked the previous tenant about it, just in case. they told me they're having issues registering at their new address, but after i explained the whole situation, they said they were going to get a briefadres.
my dutch friends think that shouldn't take long, but the gemeente website says it can take 8 weeks? i also read every post i could find about adresonderzoek, and even though some people were lucky and could get the extra tenant deregistered in two weeks, most replies claimed it could take months (6-8, even?).
i don't know what to do. i'm just anxious all the time. i keep going through my expenses, opening and closing my bank account as if that could make money magically appear. best case scenario, i only have to live like a rat and overwork myself for a couple of months, but even that idea is stressing me out because it's not fair. i'm just so tired.

I want to use magnetic stripes with double sided tapes for ease of installation however most of the products i found have reviews stating how poor their strength is good enough for papers and stickers...
i will lay the strip around the edges so i dont need super strong magnets but they need to have enough strength.

Je pose la question suite à la publication d'une prof de Lettres sur Insta concernant le niveau de français de ses élèves, mais aussi de ses collègues et des parents. Voilà ce qu'elle dit :
- 80% de mes élèves (entre 14 et 18 ans) ne savent pas conjuguer des verbes au présent.J'ai eu le même genre d'échos par un ami prof au collège.
- 70% des élèves n'arrivent pas à trouver le sujet dans une phrase lorsque le verbe est en position détaché : "le cheval, qui est à côté des chèvres, dort". Beaucoup vont mettre "dorment" pour accorder avec "chèvres".
- Ils écrivent "je descend, "il vie", "tu et", "il disa"...
- La moitié de mes élèves ne comprennent pas le sens littéral d'un texte.
- La moitié des profs font des fautes de grammaire sur les bulletins.
- 90% des parents font des fautes quand ils m'écrivent des mails.
Je trouve ça effarant. D'où ma question.

I never really knew how big the deal was up until a few days ago. I've been trying to buy multiple items online and i get sellers (even in china!) that are refusing to sell me the product due to the strike and countless businesses complaining how it is affecting and ruining their business! It started with stuff i ordered not being delivered, ok not a huge deal. I haven't ordered anything too important and it can wait a bit. But this is now far worse. As i said I'm lucky that what I i have coming isn't anything too important and i don't have anything super important coming in the mail anytime soon (like medications passports legal documents that i might need right away) i just can't imagine the mess those people are in right now with Canada Post holding important mail hostage!
Just imagine your medication is held hostage and it could cause you your life!! Just imagine that. Imagine all the people in such a situation!
Let's not forget about people literally not even getting what they literally paid for. If it goes on for long enough and packages remain undelivered of course the customer is going to file for a refund for their orders resulting in completely innocent businesses losing thousands of dollars!
What a mess! This needs to end now!!
Please upvote this post if you agree so more people can see it. We need to spread the word. We need more posts like this! Stop holding our important & urgent mail hostage! Stop holding our packages THAT WE PAID FOR HOSTAGE!!
