I’m 24F, been single until now. I’ve gone out on dates had flings, but never been in a serious relationship and it’s because I never REALLY liked the people I went out with.
Ever since high school, every time someone brings up this topic of dating or people around me are dating and in relationships, I feel extremely triggered and start crying. I start to isolate myself and I’ve started to daydream as a result. Because this conversation comes up so much I just want to escape.
I don’t know if it’s because I feel unloved or that I don’t really feel a sense of connection with anyone…., a deep loneliness and also a loss of hope, maybe no one ever will love Me
People’s reaction to it also makes it worse because they’re so shocked. What if people think I’m toxic cos I haven’t been in a relationship? When in reality all I faced was betrayal after another. The feeling of never been chosen always lingers and I’m left feeling detached, on edge but still longing for love.

I dont remember much, i think i played it on pc somewhen around that time but i could be wrong and if so i apologise.
It was a 2d game you saw from the side and you played this (special forces/secret agent type guy) who needed to stop this evil scientist and you could explore different rooms and when you beat a boss you got a powerup special technique, there was also this. Giant cicada monster that was a boss that would show up and absolutely demolish you, i don't remember the powerups but i think one was a grappling hook and then another was a some sort of fire thing
I heard this was the place to turn so pls, cause i never beat that damn cicada and i've been trying to find this game for years to have my revenge but i can't find anything like it and i need help.

Relationship of 7 years saw the signs years ago but thought there was a light at the end of the tunnel-I was wrong.
We are in our mid twenties and are having sex on a less than monthly basis. She doesn’t seem to even think about it. I do all the house chores. I make dinner, feed the cats, do the dishes, clean up everything. Before bed always give massages with no expectations. I’m fed up. She never expresses any physical affection to me. It’s ALWAYS ME. I might get a peck on the lips once a week. She says “love you “ but to me sadly it means less. It feels like I’m just a friend at this point that is also a fucking butler. She’s always tired, always sick, always sore. I do way more physical activity and chores. She’s been to the doctor there’s nothing wrong to say why she is tired. She isn’t depressed. At anytime in the past I have brought up sex she just says “I’m such a bad girlfriend “ ok what can you do about it? She does nothing. She just takes me for granted, I feel. I have finally snapped after she had ordered two vibrators online. She showed me them and I thought oh wow maybe this may help things. Nah. I just find them in the shower or on her bedside table. She bought some lingerie and put it on but she got a phone call and quickly got out of it. The only time we have had sex in the last three months was when I said “ can we have sex” I don’t want to ask for sex- it should be a natural thing that happens. Two people that both want something and don’t have to say anything. So it’s late at night and I’m writing here while she has gotten off her phone which she browses for hours before bed and ignores me completely. She’s probably ll4u, at least tell me so I don’t have to waste anymore of my time. How isn’t it a waste of time for her? I don’t know. My butler service isn’t that important. It gets to the point where I feel she just isn’t attracted to me and I’ve asked but she says “ I am “ I asked if she could try to work on the libido. “ you can sort yourself out” if I do sort myself out she gets annoyed. She occasionally makes comments about guys jokingly on tv “ I could sit on his face” I’m no longer angry, sad or anything. Tired and numb from constant rejection. I’m not bad looking, I have been hit on and such. It’s just a fucking mystery. Either she isn’t honest, or it’s not a compatible relationship.

2024.11.27 13:02 anischinniah19 [s2 spoilers] Some criticisms
I love this show and I thought they did a lot of things right in Season 2, and the animation was absolutely fantastic.
But there were some bits that are just eggin me. I don't understand why they had to rush the 3rd act. Was it not possible for a show as successful as Arcane to get more episodes? Or for them to just be less ambitious with the story in terms of what was realistic?
Don't get me wrong, I loved the storylines they had, but some bits were just so rushed or not fleshed out properly at all:
- How did Ekko and Heimerdinger know which timeline to get back to in ep 7?? Trying to pinpoint their timeline out of the infinite that exist in the multiverse should have at least gotten some screentime and explanation, and this idea of that alternate universe's Ekko just poppin up all fine after they send original Ekko back seemed way too convenient tbh. Still my fav episode tho (timebomb fan)
- Why would Ambessa team up with Jesus Victor?? She has seen how powerful he is and she just thinks that she can control him?? He can literally control minds?? Why would he WAGE WAR for her?? He is a pacifist. Just seems like a dumb move strategically if she thought she would be free from his control. It would have made more sense for her to kill him off. Her death was also very underwhelming, she had the strength to resist mage Mel's continuous volley of attacks but 5 seconds in the Black rose vine trap thing was enough to kill her? No consistency there.
- Mel and the Black Rose I feel was handled poorly. They did not flesh out anything of substance regarding the Black Rose and I really didn't like that Mel is just a mage now all of a sudden and can use her powers without any sort of training whatsoever. That was just very rushed and they really messed up her arc. If there is a Noxus spin off I hope they delve into this A LOT more.
- This is a more personal criticism I guess but I wanted to see more of VandeWarwick, like they spent a whole episode trying to heal him and then he just dies or loses his memory anyways. Like what was the point of all that. Also I feel like Vi as a character really was downgraded this season. Every decision she made just seemed wrong and she had no real direction, which was a big difference from S1 as I feel she had a lot more purpose in that season. It's not necessarily a bad thing though, but I guess I wanted her to have more of an impact.
- What was Caitlyn's plan with Ambessa? It's become such a meme now but as soon as Vi came back she switched sides straight away. Like was she always planning to betray Ambessa? Did she just change her mind in the heat of the moment? That would be very out of character for her as she is normally quite careful and methodical. I'm assuming approximately a year past between ep 3 and 4 and in that whole time they never saw each other? I guess it seems very strange to me that after a year of not seeing someone you would just drop everything and switch sides like that. Seems very rushed and a little too spontaneous.
