I've been doing lots of edibles recently and when i'm high I sleep great and I like being high but on the nights that I'm not high i've been sleeping like shit all of a sudden. Takes me maybe 2-4 of staring at the wall to get to sleep and i've started waking up during the night recently which takes me a very long time to go to sleep again. Everthing feels like a brick, tried sleeping on the couch to see if that would make a difference but it didn't.

2024.11.27 15:50 StopSpammin Help with WiFi setup NVR and 3 cameras

Hi,
After starting off with a single camera, I now have 3 and to ensure footage that is available all the time I now have a WiFi NVR hub.
RLC-843WA, RLC-511W, E1 Pro, RLN12W
The E1 is great, well no wonder, it's only a few metres away through a window. One outside camera is sort of ok, 30 m away through 2 windows, line of sight.
The RLC-511W camera is giving me problems. As is the entire hub WiFi setup.
I went and entered everything via Android app, which was easy and straightforward. However, when I connected the hub to the router via LAN cable and then the cameras via LAN cable to the Reolink hub, things went sideways when I went and left only the WiFi connection and Reolink support does or cannot help.
Because now, I am unable to access the camera via Android app and the hub is unable to change the name. It is stuck on Camera1. The camera is disconnected 90% of the time, even though it's only around 12 m away through 2 walls.
So I bought an extension antenna, bringing it as close as maybe 8m through a window and an interior wall. No joy.
Now I contacted Reolink and they said the cameras connect via the home WiFi. But an extender is only 1m away. If I look at the Network rider of the camera I see only a connection to the WiFi address of the hub, not the router or the extender. But I can't get to the camera via the app to check or modify that. It sits on "Connection failed" 90% of the time. If I click on "modify" on the hub I am told the Account/password is wrong. But what account and what password? The cameras don't have their own passwords.
My questions are

  1. is it possible to access cameras via app even if they are attached to a hub?
  2. do Reolink cameras attach to the home WiFi or the hub WiFi?
  3. is there a way to get any signal strength info of the cameras?
  4. is there a way to connect the cameras to a different access point?
Any kind of help is appreciated. I apologise if these are complete newbie questions, but I really tried reading and searching, but I couldn't find answers to these myself.
