Hi All,
I've searched for this particular topic without success and it's really interesting that it is not discussed. In business when you purchase products specifically for later resale, you don't typically pay sales tax as it is a 'pass through' where the final buyer pays the sales tax (as do sellers here on BL).
I know it's a state-specific thing, but here in my state, the statue says this:
When a purchase of tangible personal property or service subject to tax is made for the purpose of resale, such purchase shall be either exempt or excluded under this chapter if the subsequent sale is: ...; (2) For resale...
I have several small businesses and when we purchase things, it's either for resale or not. If for resale, no sales tax is charged.
So, my question is for big buyers of sets to part out, do you have some technique / relationship with the big retailers or something (by filing a tax exemption) so sales tax is not charged? I'm thinking Amazon, Target, Walmart, etc.
This extra 7-10% hit on set purchases, if you can remove it, is a big saver and competitive advantage for sellers in certain states. Thanks.

Hey folks, i’m thinking about this topic for a long time but can't find a good answer without spending a lot of money and time on this. I do regular gym sessions by 2 times a week and mostly 1 bicycle trip or cardio workout a week. I've tested the whoop band for 1 year and had an Apple Watch SE 2 rom my girlfriend for a couple of weeks for tests. Because I'm a traditional watch lover, i don't ike to wear a smartwatch all day long and through the night. I just want to measure my training or running/bike, heart related measurements on gym sessions and little things more, but no sleep, etc. So, do you have any recommendations for me for a tracking device which i just put on before he training and lay it off after im done?
