Hi, We often talk about the struggles that come with narcolepsy—don't get me wrong they are real and control nearly every decision of our lives. But I’m curious, if anyone else has found any positive aspect from their experience? For me, post-diagnosis life has made me much more mindful and aware of my body. I’ve learned to actually listen and recognize the nuances my body signals. This has helped me not only in fighting narcolepsy but care for my health in other areas as well. Has anyone found anything similar?

So I was just going through the Xbox app randomly and wanted to check the sales while I'm out, and I checked if Black Ops 3 was on sale but it just said "Install to"
I checked when I got back and remembered you can only get the Zombies Chronicles version now from the Xbox store, and what I saw on the app was just the base game. I've had the game physically for years, I've already bought all the DLC and would prefer not to pay again, but I have an Xbox Series S so no discs for me.
Can anyone help me understand a little bit more?

É isso, estou gordo. Tive obesidade infantil, emagreci grotescamente e passei a engordar de novo aos 15/16 anos.
Sempre odiei fazer exercícios físicos, não sinto prazer nenhum e verdadeiramente me deixa incomodo. Como é de se esperar, também não consigo controlar a boca e exagero no tipo de coisa que como.
Estou fazendo Muay Thai, mas manter a frequência é uma luta (haha) e não consigo controlar a alimentação, quando menos vi já tô com um pedaço de bolo na boca.
Sei que é culpa minha, então não fico realmente revoltado, é só decepcionante. Minha namorada não fala nada, mas sei que é vergonhoso andar com um cara como eu, no estado que estou. Tô quase pegando o sutiã dela pra usar em mim, haha!

I practice workers' compensation defense, and I've noticed that when I delve deeper into explaining how the law should apply or how the Board interprets a statute, some judges seem frustrated. They prefer quick, straightforward hearings rather than getting bogged down in substantive issues or case law.
A senior attorney at my firm once advised me to present my position without going too deeply into the legal details, as doing so might irritate certain judges.
This made me wonder: Is it more important to focus on law, or should I sometimes hold back on going too much into legal arguments to maintain a positive relationship with the judge?

My manager never had issues with my performance until she found out that the most tenured guy on my team(her favorite) and I don’t get along. I complained to her a few months ago that he isn’t being helpful and is withholding information as I took over one of his projects and was sidelining me. She took his side and called me the problem.
A month ago I sent him a message on chime asking for some help on something and he refused. I was annoyed but I didn’t say anything rude. More like “you are not being helpful. I’m requesting for help. Fine I will ask someone”. He sent a screenshot to her and now she used that send me an email saying that I didn’t follow the “earn trust” LP and that she will track my progress in one on ones. I panicked and asked her if I was ln focus. She said no.
I started applying for internal jobs. I worked until 1 AM and ok weekends the past month. She went OOO due to personal reasons. I used this time to interview. I got an offer. The hiring manager talked to my Skip. Skip was happy to provide recommendation. He asked for 30 days for transition. My manager is coming back next week. I don’t trust her at all. I have heard stories where people have accepted an offer internally but their transfer was blocked because they were still reporting to their previous manager.
I just want to protect myself. Even if I give my hundred percent, I don’t trust her. How do I protect myself? Can I go on leave half way through December just so she can’t claim I didn’t do anything wrong. I will do the handover and everything correctly. Please advise. I haven’t slept in a month and am rapidly losing weight because of the politics.
