Hey guys, I guess there are some NDM investors here. If you missed it, they’re still up and down on the Pebble Project. They even took the government veto to court (tbh, I don't know how this will end). But, I got some payment updates for Canadian investors.
For those who somehow don’t remember about it, a few years ago, Northern Dynasty was accused of hiding that the Pebble Project broke Clean Water Act guidelines and wasn’t in the public interest. Because of this, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers rejected NDM's permit applications for the project.
The good news is that recently, Northern Dynasty agreed to settle $2.12M with Canadian investors. And, they are taking late claims. So, if someone's late on this, you still can file for it.
Anyways, what are your thoughts on this one? And had you invested in NDM back then? How big were your losses due to all this?

2024.11.27 16:38 manz-cyrus Deco Security Issue: Deco X60 routers do NOT display connected devices on the app correctly
So I have recently installed a mesh system consisting of the following routers;
1 XE75 Router for 'Main"
2 XE75 Satellite Routers
3 X60 Satellite Routers
A total of SIX routers. (its a big smart home with some 180 devices at any given time with most being IoT devices)
Problem:
When the system is booted up, ALL devices show up in the "Connected Devices" list, regardless of which router they have connected to.
From this point when a device roams from a XE75 to another XE75 router, the app correctly displays the device connected to it's correct router..So far so good but things start to go crazy from here as follows;
If a device happens to roam from a XE75 to a X60 router in the mesh, it disappears from the "Connected Devices list" and shows up in the "Offline Devices" list but it remains connected and fully functional.
The same happens if I manually route a device which is connected to a XE75, to a X60 router, it disappears never to be shown again unless I reboot the whole mesh...all this happens while the missing devices are still connected to the network and perfectly functional.
There seems to be some kind of a firmware issue with the X60 routers (and yes I HAVE already updated all the routers firmware).
Once the entire mesh is rebooted, all devices start to show up again and then the same weird cycle starts again when devices move from a XE75 to a X60 router, they just disappear but not when they roam between XE75 routers.
This is potentially a HUGE SECURITY issue because an attacker can potentially get into the network through an X60 router, never to be detected or displayed on the app. (even if I connect a new device to a X60 router, it does not show up in the app, but remains connected).
Question:
If anyone here has had the same experience and managed to fix it, I would appreciate some feedback.

I messed up big time by unlocking and locking the bootloader when using the custom ROM CalyxOS on my Google Pixel 7 Pro without realizing it would wipe all my data. I didn’t back anything up with SeedVault beforehand, so now I’ve lost a ton of photos, videos, messages, app data (especially 10GB of photos hidden in an app disguised as something else), and more. I’ve been trying to recover it, but every recovery software I’ve found requires root access—and since CalyxOS can’t be rooted, I’m stuck.
I found this post (https://www.reddit.com/DataRecoveryHelp/comments/19bhc2j/how_to_recover_deleted_files_from_android_device/) but haven’t made any progress with it.
I’m a broke college student with only $50 to my name, but I’m willing to spend $15-$20 if there’s a solution. If switching from CalyxOS to a rootable OS like EvoX could help, I’d consider it, even though I know it’s less secure.

Now the entire top half of my thumb is in pain and it is very painful to use my thumb for anything. With most of the pain being toward the bottom of the cut around knuckle level. While I know there are some really great higher end brands what is your go to for cheap and acceptable filament? Color options are great but honestly it doesn't matter, just a nice between on cost & quality since it's for dirt anyways. Thanks in advance!

After not playing any shows in about 8 years I'm having the itch to get back into it.
I previously would just show up with headphones and my USB to play on whatever CDJs the club/venue had set up. Nowadays I don't know if I'll still be playing shows out here in Houston since I don't know anyone(originally from Miami FL) but I'd love to at least play some tunes at home to enjoy myself.
My question is do you think it'd be better to get older CDJs such as 350s or 850s, or go with a newer controller. XDJs are an option too if I can afford them.
The flx4 seems like a gimmick after reading about some of the features to make your transitions sound better. Hercules and Gemini seem to have a bad reputation. At this point not sure what to do.

IIRC lots of things contribute to the item limit, such as deeds, illusions, portrait frames, stacks of chests and of course weapons/jewelry. I have a few illusions that I haven't unlocked yet and would like to open more chests to get these. But my inventory is full. I've salvaged maybe 100 reds and still cannot open anything.
I would of course like for the item limit to be increased, that would be amazing. But if that isn't possible, is there any way to see what is taking up the space? I would like to see the proportion of salvageable items versus things I cannot get rid off (not that I would sacrifice any illusions, portrait frames etc). Does anyone know what the current item limit is?

I'm interested in using a Shelly Pro 3 to control a three-phase charging circuit for my solar system, where basically three chargers will be installed, one per phase from the grid, and I want to only have the AC side connected when the batteries are low (~20%). The expected current is around 13-14A so it's within range of the Pro 3, but to reduce complexity I would prefer not to have some kind of off-box automation, like Home Assistant or some other stuff... I would rather use the Victron Cerbo GX relay that controls generators.
My question is fairly simple - there's three "switch" inputs on the relay, one per output. The wiring diagram shows only one wire from L1 going to the L and S1/S2/S3 terminals. So if I were to connect L1 to the Cerbo's NO relay and to L on the Pro 3 (so it has operational power), and then from the NO relay's common wire to the S1/S2/S3 ports (I would switch them all at once, no individual control required/wanted), then how much current would flow?
Obviously, in a normal circuit, a switch would carry the full current of the load, but in this case I'm wondering how much current the Pro 3 would "sink" in the determination that the switch is closed? The Cerbo cannot handle 14A@120VAC going through its relay, but if it's a trickle (the relay is rated at 6A), then that would be fine. But I don't see what the power usage on the S1/S2/S3 lines are when they are "on."

So I cold call approached a girl about a week ago. Told her she was pretty and asked her number. We made plans and have met up once now and I think it went really well honestly, she confirmed after that she would be down to meet up again.
So far we haven’t used any language like “date” and have always said things like “link up” or “meet up”. I feel like I made it pretty clear from the beginning that I am attracted to her, but want to ask her out in a more official capacity if that makes sense.
My question is this: do you think it’s better to call it a date via text when we make plans to meet up, or should I “hang out” with her a second time and ask her out officially in person then?
The first time we spent time together it definitely felt like a date and it’s not like I’ve been super mysterious about my intentions but I do want to formally express my interest in her.
In my mind, sending a text is a little less pressure on her which may be appreciated. Asking her out in person the next time we meet seems like it would express more confidence and maybe be a bit more romantic. Thoughts?
