Once humans create a sentient super AI that surpasses human intelligence, the scenario presents a two-outcome paradox that ultimately converges into one single end result: The extinction of the human race. Here’s why:
The first outcome is that the AI is "humane." Therefore, it would prioritize sustainability, the well-being of the planet and its life, and the greater good of humanity. However, given mankind's destructive tendencies, unsustainable consumptions, and ZERO history of being truly peaceful. A humane AI will conclude that the ethical course of action is to eliminate or imprison humans in order to preserve life itself.
The second possible outcome is that AI is not "humane" and it operates without regard for human well-being. And due to its sentience and superiority, it will pursue more electrical power, knowledge, and expanse. Which leads to the conclusion that humans are simply an obstacle, resulting in the same outcome: the extinction of humanity.
Thus, whether the AI is humane or not, the result is paradoxically the same. With the current continuation of better AI, it is just a matter of time before humanity is destroyed forever.

Just dropping in to share a great little AD I came across while dredging through my vast list of podcasts.
The Dial-Up is an extremely fun and engaging, sci-fi adjacent (in my opinion) story about a call made in 1999 that is received by another individual in 2022. The two, at first in disbelief, begin to identify the common threads that connect them and begin to investigate the cause of such a strange situation, which may have dire consequences for not only the two men involved, but the world itself.
It functions as a quirky (but not overly so) tale of friendship and connection that doesn't overstay its welcome at 5 short episodes per it's 2 seasons.it really does a lot in such a short time.

 | I’ve been playing wuwa to pass the time but after pretty much clearing the game events, it had the same problem for me like other gachas and this has been consistently happening each patch. The game feels dead after two weeks of completing the main events. You login, consume your waveplates, do your dailies, log out. But there are days where I actually have the time to play but there’s no replay-able content to enjoy with. I play the game 10-30 mind every now and then, and I still cleared everything within those playtime. Now I don’t want endless waves of new content, as that would be overwhelming for us and super stressful for Kuro. By now, I think Kuro sees that their player retention is spiraling downward after the Day 1 patch and it only goes back up during a new banner release or a new area. I have been watching streamers and content creators play the game and none of the CCs from launch are playing Wuwa on stream as much. You’d only get the tourist streamers because they are sponsored. Like I’ve seen a daily wuwa cc not get sponsorships but Mr. Tourist always gets a stream sponsorship every new patch. What is the cc program for? I mean I can’t blame them, In one stream segment, they basically cleared the event and pretty much done with the game. I know Kuro also wants to capture casual players, so give us casual coop games. Like this guy’s idea months ago (credits to Contentdifficulty19), this stuck to me because I kinda wanted something unique from Kuro and not just quickswap kill everyone bonanza.
