Hey all. I have a budget of around £2000 and I want a wildlife/Bird set-up. I like the R7 , But the lens is the issue as I am a pixel peeper and want that sharpness, The RF100-400 seems soft in all the images i have seen, The Canon 100-400 EF ii seems the best imo. What are your guys and gals thoughts on this. I am open to trying other systems, any help is appreciated. Thanks

2024.11.27 15:50 MasterOfLopez Problem printing TPU with nozzle
Hey guys, Some time ago I decided to get the upgrade kit for my P1P. I also got the hardened steel nozzle and extruder gear. That's when my trouble with printing TPU started.
I used the same roll of filament I used while I had the P1P (F3D, 93A). Printing with it used to be a breeze as far as TPU goes, but after the upgrade all I'm getting is mid-print clogs, which I remove as recommended on Bambu wiki (removing the filament from nozzle with a hot hex-key, then performing a cold-pull). I also disassambled and cleaned the extruder. I even managed to look into the nozzle to confirm, that there's no residue inside.
It seems to be the nozzle's fault, since for a test I switched the nozzle back to the stainless steel one, leaving the hardened extruder gears and the print went fine again...
So, about the print conditions and what I've tried so far, that did not help:
- 230, 235, 240C nozzle, 35C bed
- 1 and 1.05 flow rate
- Doors open/closed, with/without top glass (to mitigate heat creeping)
- Retraction 0.8mm, 0.4mm, 0.1mm, then completely off
- Pressure advance 0.42 (pretty high, but this is the value I got from the Orca slicer calibration), then disabled -Filament dried for a total of 12h@55*C, in the last week, kept in vacuum-sealed bag with silica for most of the time. -Max volumetric speed 5, then 3.6, then 3.2 mm³/s -Extruder tension screw at max tightness, then loosened by 2 turns -Bed washed, cleaned and covered with bambu adhesive (:D)

Hey guys my Peak Pro is coming in today, and was curious about doing hot dabs with it. I know it says to load up and then start heating, but from what I’ve read it seems like you’re able to do hot dabs too?
Do you just start the pro up with nothing on it, cap off, and then drop your dab in when at temp, and re-cap? Was curious the “proper” way to do it
Do you guys like doing it that way? Any advantage?

Ok so I noticed the other day that the build plate was near the top of travel and the part that is at max is 5mm tall, had printed about half or so and although it was still printing layers, the build plate was near the top but not quite. So I tried a new thumb drive and file. This time it stayed at the bottom after a few layers. It's been working fine all week till this. And it was printing these files fine b4.???

I did some 220mg of mdma and 30mg oral 2cb and some ketamine last night and had the craziest trip on my life, the visuals had such a realistic dreamy melting effect like it was like shrooms or acid, it was very clear and i was watching vampire hunter d and shit was crazy and at some point I did some lines of k and then laid down in my bed and i must of k holed or something because i literally thought I had overdosed and died like i could see myself from outside my body and i was flying around thru space and i had major time dilation like 3 hours felt like a lifetime
i stood up and got off my bed and i had turned the light off and it was so dark I was just kinda standing there still confused at what what just happened because i just saw my life flash before my eyes and had like taken so much drugs and died i stood there maybe for like 35 minutes just trying to realize if im really coming down and back to reality
i probably should of spaced the drugs put more or maybe not done much ket because i really didn’t think the effects would be that amplified so much i would k hole haha , this was the scariest trip of my life like it had my scared if I was gonna wake up randomly in public or in the hospital with my family around me but once i actually came down i was like YOO
