I lost my dad 5 days to my interview, my lawyer refused to follow me and my husband to the interview. The grilling at the immigration office was too much. The woman was yelling at I and my husband, my husband saw me shaking and tried to calm me the woman told him not to touch me and my husband almost got pissed. The lawyer I hired in NY told me to be expecting a denial notice due to the woman behavior. I got approved on my dad’s 8 days fidau. Hey all! I'm new to all things Wiccan, but the more I'm learning, the more it resonates with me on a spiritual level. I'm not sure that I believe in magick, I kind of want to, but I'm enjoying the reverence of nature, meditation, rituals, visualizations, and feeling connected to the universe.
At the same time, it does feel kind of weird that I'm doing all this witchy stuff by night and I'm a scientist by day lol. I have a doctorate in chemistry, and I work in a lab doing fundamental atomic-level research. So when I mentioned to people in my life that I was getting into Wicca, they were... confused to say the least. I'm almost a little embarrassed, and I especially don't want my friends at work to know.
In my brain, science is a tool for understanding the physical world and how to manipulate it, and spirituality is used to make sense of the spiritual and emotional world. Do I believe that the atomic structures of crystals embue magical properties? No, we can describe that with science (crystallography) buuuut I did bless an amethyst and put it under my pillow so I would stop having nightmares, and it worked (n of 1, but hey I'll take it). I still struggle sometimes with this perceived paradox. Any other scientists feel the same?

Mom once said " I hope some day you have a kid just like you, then you will know how hard, tiring and awful it is to raise you" well guess what?! I did. I had a kid who is who I would had been had I not been csa'd, had I gotten the help I needed academically, had my health been taken seriously, had I'd been encouraged to be and do who I wanted to be rather than being made to feel like a disapointment. Yeah, I did have a kid like me, and it is so wonderful, easy and amazing raising her and seeing her succeed!

Hi Folks, I posted some of this in Visascheduling, but thought I come here to as it might be specific to the E3.
So am trying to schedule and pay for Visas for myself and 2 dependents (Spouse and Child) . After many support tickets I now have those dependents attached to my application (literally impossible without support). We qualify for interview waiver and are paying for premium mail service to ge the docuemtns back. Now have some questions:
- if I progress the application flow for a given dependent it takes me to the payment section for premium processing. Do I have to do this independently for each applicant or is it simply taking me to the deliver payment for the entire application. If I go back to home and then "Continue Application" it also takes me to the delivery payment - is this the same as the one in the dependent flow.
- Where can I find the dependent UID numbers? They are required for the delivery payments but they are never mentioned on any screen related to the dependents themselves.

2024.11.27 17:41 Hopeful-Subject-5281 I’m so close to quitting but have no sense of discipline
I (25F) started vaping about 5 years ago (all disposables). I used vapes to quit smoking cigarettes, which I smoked for 5 years before that (started smoking in high school because “oh I look so cool”; big me wants to shake little me and ask her wtf she was thinking). Nicotine addiction is no joke. In the past two years I’ve tried multiple times to stop to no avail. Longest I went was one month using nicotine free vapes that just had like flavored air? But those were pretty expensive and all online order, would sell out a lot. Currently I’ve tried nicotine gum but it makes me so dizzy and nauseous. I’m to that love hate point where I just want to quit cold turkey, but can’t get past the “just one more hit” because I have literally no willpower. I am so terrified of the health repercussions and have crippling anxiety about it, as if there’s a ticking clock on my health, which there kind of is. Any tips/tricks/advice?

Most of my items are made to order and take a few weeks to ship but I have a couple in-stock items and they have a 1-2 day processing time and ship USPS first class mail. So I got an order for one of these items the other day late in the afternoon, too late to get it to the post office that day, and when I made the shipping label on Etsy and marked that it would be shipped the next day Etsy says the customer probably won't get the order in time. What is the point of asking me the processing time if they are going to tell me I am too slow even though I am shipping within my processing time? This makes me just want to extend the processing times on all my items so I won't be "late".

Looking at taking that is Vitamin D3 K2 & MSM - 10,000 IU Vitamin D3, 450mcg Vitamin K2 600mg MSM Per Capsule per day.
Has anyone experience side for this dose whilst take all three effects.
I currently take half of this and feel pretty good.
