So I had braces as a kid and got the composite bonding done (as well as a cosmetic gingivectomy) on the left in fall 2015. Now I have aligners to correct bite issues. I noticed that with the aligners I’m developing spaces in between the lateral incisor there. And the gum tissue line looks so different! What is happening!? Gum recession!?
(I am 30 years old BTW, the composite is from 2015)

I like to go through my emails and just hit all the unsubscription hyperlinks for the ones I don’t care about. About 80% of them are fine, they open to webpage that confirms that the unsubscribing was successful, and often asks for a reason, which you can ignore. Great.
BUT- the rest of that 20%… The ones that lead you to a page that either make you type in your email, or even worse, log into that website to access your mailing options… what makes you think I remember the login for this random website that I want nothing to do with?
Anyways I just end up blocking those domains cause it’s easier.

I wanted to raise awareness about ongoing delays in the process for former members of An Garda Síochána seeking reinstatement. As far as I know, there are more than 30 individuals in this situation, some of whom submitted their applications over 12 months ago.
Despite meeting the requirements, applicants have been waiting indefinitely without clear updates or timelines. This is happening at a time when Garda resources are reportedly stretched, and there is a public need for experienced personnel to rejoin the force.
To make matters worse, communication from those handling the applications has been vague and repetitive. A Freedom of Information (FOI) request regarding the process has already been published on the Garda website, but it hasn’t provided much clarity on why these delays are occurring or when they might be resolved.
This situation raises serious concerns about the efficiency and transparency of the reinstatement process, and it’s disheartening for those who are eager to return to serving their communities.
I’m posting here to bring attention to this issue and to see if anyone else has insights or similar experiences. Why is this process taking so long, and what can be done to hold those in charge accountable?

I have a question regarding Early access on xbox. Ive been trying to search for this info on my own but as soon i search Codes i get 20000 hits about give aways.
When i check the Supporter packs on PC i see that i get codes i could give to friends.
But I was planning on playing on xbox and getting the 160$ pack there. But I dont see anything about friend codes on the xbox. Does anyone know if I get them there aswell, or would i have to buy seperate 30$ packs to each friend if I want to play with them? If so the xbox expensive packs lose value compared to pc packs. 😅

[another sigh] Head to the back of the store from here, take a left at men’s clothing, then keep going until you see all of the game consoles. The wearables are near the phones and phone accessories. You know, where they always are.

[hurried, distracted as the speaker moves items through the store] Excuse me, sorry–Oh. It’s you again. Pardon me while I just do my job here.
Why am I so “grumpy”? I don’t know, man, maybe because it’s 6:30am and there are about three thousand people in the store right now, and somehow there are still customers who are walking around like they came here on Black Friday completely by accident.
…Yeah, I mean like you. Seriously, dude, what is your deal? Did you just wake up when it was still dark out and think, “Hmm, I think it would be really fun to go to Target at 5:00am today”?
[sigh] Ugh, yeah. I am supposed to be more pleasant to customers. But what are you going to do about it? Tell my manager? Good luck, he’s about fifteen pissed off shoppers deep trying to sort out coupon issues right now, and I am just a seasonal employee anyway. You’d be doing me a favor if you got me fired, I swear to god.
Why am I being “so mean” to you? I don’t know, maybe because the second I saw you, you were browsing through items that had been set aside for store pickup…you know, things other people had already bought? And then before I could tell you off for that, you almost started a riot by cutting to the front of that line?
Ugh, I know you weren’t trying to skip the line now. But that didn’t stop the first five people in that line from looking like they were about to strangle you, me, and my coworkers at that register. Seriously, dude, are you okay? Because you are really walking around here like you just beamed down from Mars and have never seen a store before.
…Right, you do most of your shopping online. Cool. Great. So glad you picked today and my store to change that fact. Did you even make it to the electronics section?

Did you just decide to come out for Black Friday specifically to find a poor, beleaguered temp employee who decided to pick up some extra work during the holidays to terrorize until they have a mental breakdown? [still whispered, irritated and flustered] Ugh, sure. “I’m just here to buy a Fitbit.” Shut the fuck up, dude.
