Im currently a freshman in college looking to be a sophomore transfer to schools like USC, Columbia, Wash U, Cornell University, Boston University, Emory, Vanderbilt, Northwestern. I would most likely have a 4.0 this semester and the next. My highschool grades are okay ( think A's ). I am like 20-50 points below the 25th percentile for most schools here. Should I submit my score to these schools?

As we know Daniel is waiting to be transferred to MCFP from Englewood by years end. But it’s been having me wondering. Isn’t it almost guaranteed that Daniel is gonna have internet restrictions when he’s out? Since we have the phone calls now, we have contact but when he’s out we are not going to. If he has restrictions the only way we get updates is from third parties that see him on the street. Or who knows, since the legal system is so messed up he might be out with no restrictions. But i wanted to ask the larsonists what are ways we can keep up with him if he has internet restrictions? lmk what you think.

I'm in the market for a new optical disc burner and would appreciate any recommendations for a drive that supports all formats, including BD-R, BD-R XL, DVD±R, and CD-R. Ideally, I’d like a burner that can set the booktype for DVD+R and +R DL to DVD-ROM.
Additionally, I’m curious about burning UHD movies. Are they typically burned onto BD-R XL discs, or is there a completely different format required for that? Any insights on compatibility or the process would be super helpful!

Now I'm sure this is going to sound absurd but I secretly play tibia, my girlfriend thinks all I do on my computer is work since the only computer I've got is my work laptop but when I wake up daily I play Tibia until she wakes up. I'm using a worthless €10 wireless office mouse that disconnects for 10 seconds every hour or so but I'm getting the most out of it (ahk rebind scrollwheel + two action buttons) but it's time to part ways.
Is there any mouse with more action buttons (similar to razer Naga) that still look like it could fit in an office or at least isn't so obviously for gaming? Something that would keep me to uphold my secret since im not ready to come out of the closet yet?

Dodgers, Yanks and Mets are basically doing all they can to buy rings at this point and the top players can literally only sign with maybe 5 teams unless they leave money on the table. 650 mil for Soto potentially is absolutely insane.
Meanwhile the Guards have perhaps the best front office in baseball but continue to struggled to get buy the big money teams when it matters most.
And no i’m not letting Dolan off the hook. He could easily spence 30 million more this season but he won’t. Heck, we’re lucky to even have Jose still with cheap ass contract he signed.

2024.11.27 16:49 newofficemusic Possible to use the VCS classic controller's spinner in PC emulators?
I connected mine to PC via BT, and in windows gamepad settings it seems to working fine and it was recongnized as a dial. However, for some reason, it does not seem to work in emulators such as retroarch for those SNK rotatory joystick games like Guerrlia War. In retroarch, the spinner works fine in input settings as axis, but in game, it just have no response no matter what I tried. Any one has experience using it in any emulators? Thanks.
