Hi - I live in an area with hard tap water. I keep my tank parameters pristine but seem to get fin rot on some of my bettsa. Funny enough, the dumbos are fine...its the rosetail's giving me issues.
What are your opinions on trying spring water instead of treated tap water? Do you think it could help with the fin rot problem?

2024.11.27 16:41 Ok-Landscape3067 Crazy appetite after starting Zwift
I've got back into zwifting the last couple of months and have pushed my training to around 8 hours per week. Fitness is improving weekly as I'm not trained at all, mainly done weightlifting in the past. I don't feel overtrained.
Has anyone else struggled with a huge increase in appetite when pushing the hours on the bike up? I'm around 100kg of fluffy muscle kind of build so I struggle with a large appetite anyway but this hunger is at a level I've never experienced before. I want to try and drop 10kg or so this is less than ideal. Weight is stable last month despite wanting to eat everything and some days achieving that goal 😅.
Anyone know if this increase in appetite levels off after a while or do I just need to suffer 🤣?

2024.11.27 16:41 KrowMA Frame Generation Not Increasing FPS in my games. Hope someone can help, thank you.
I tried using FSR on Hogwarts Legacy and Black Myth Wukong, but there isn't any increase in FPS in comparison to when using native resolution (I actually get more fps without frame gen). Why is this the case? I'm basically stuck without the choice of using frame gen. I'm quite convinced that it isn't CPU bottleneck because I've seen similar builds with results 2x fps, and my cpu usage is only at 25-30% most of the time. The issue is that frame gen for some reason isn't increasing my frames at all, fps stays the same, if not less.

 | Nach der Empfehlung hier im Sub musste ich bei meinem Besuch in Wien heute unbedingt hin und was kann ich sagen, außer: Himmlisch! Habe den Kalbsdürüm für 5,50€ genommen mit Currysauce und Frenchsauce (Empfehlung vom trotz stressiger Mittagszeit netten Dönerburschen). Mit Uludag dazu war das wirklich ein Erlebnis. Man schmeckt, dass der Döner handgespickt, das Gemüse frisch und die Saucen hausgemacht sind. Im Vergleich zum Wien-Hype Ferhat, der mich letzte Woche extrem enttäuscht hat wegen unfreundlicher Massenabfertigung und kaltem Billigfleisch, gewinnt der Fedi das Rennen mit Kilometern Vorsprung! Okay, I have two main things to say.
- I live in Canada and our “turkey day” is in October and when I check my switch settings my region is just “the americas”. I find it odd that a company like Nintendo is functioning this way and basically saying that if you live in “the americas” then you must only celebrate American Christian holidays.
- Why is animal crossing obsessed WITH American Christian holidays? I’m not Christian and I’m not American so why is it that I have a turkey day? Not to mention that American thanksgiving is just celebrating colonization which I am very much against because, you know, genocide sucks. And yet the game has a turkey day celebration?
So I’m wondering, to those who live not in “the americas”, does your animal crossing celebrate different and more locally popular holidays or is it just all American/Christian holidays?

 | While looking for a Christmas gift for my daughter, I found the set 60399. It reminded me of my childhood, especially from set 6546, which I still have, I was about 6 or 7 when I was gifted this one. It was almost complete, leaving the scars, the action from time and some 3 lost pieces. I decided to get it, because it remember me how time passes, how much I still enjoing Lego and at this moment from my life, how much I share this enjoiment witch my daughter. Another point it's really fascinating how accurately these sets represent the evolution of Formula 1 cars during that period, both in terms of size and overall design.
