2024.11.27 16:30 Livid_Contract320 What else can I do to help them accept it?!

So like my title says.....I have 3 cats. The older two are 3&4 yrs old and they refuse to use the LR4. We did start off by having it on because I didn't know we should have started with it off... So now they are scared of it. I left the old box beside it, put some old litter in it, added the litter attractant and the LR is left turned off.
I'm at a loss now. My 3rd cat will use it and then I have to turn it on to cycle because she is rancid and the smell is overwhelming.
I thought that if I didn't give them a choice, they would just go in it so I removed the old box, only to find one of them crapped in the bathtub...so I ended up putting the old box back and the whole room smells now 🤦
Do I just leave it off and hope they go in it?!

Okay, ich hatte nicht erwartet, eine neue Sprache zu lernen, aber letzte Woche habe ich viel Zeit mit einem Freund verbracht, der aus Quebec kommt und Französisch als Muttersprache spricht. Ich habe Französisch in der Schule ein bisschen gelernt, aber dann ich bevorzugte Deutsch, also habe ich Deutsch an der Uni studiert. Ich hatte irgendwann entschieden, dass ich Französisch nicht mag, obwohl das nicht wirklich wahr ist. Es ist nur, dass ich Deutsch und Spanisch usw. mehr mag und ich besuche Frankreich nicht oft.
Aber ich möchte ihn nächstes Jahr in Quebec besuchen, also möchte ich jetzt Französisch wieder lernen. Heute habe ich ein Kapitel eines Lehrbuchs gelernt und ich habe entdeckt, dass ich an viel mehr erinnern, als ich erwartete. Ich weiß nicht, wann ich da fahren werde, aber ich habe genug Zeit, ein bisschen Französisch zu lernen.

I watch a show called the Wire. It is a police procedural that covers the nature of crime in the city of Baltimore. When the show was made, there was as many as 3 murders every 4 days in the real Baltimore.
There is a scene set in the Baltimore homicide department. A government official is doing a tour and comes across the long list of unsolved murders.
He says, "there's a lot of names on that list. Too many."
It is meant to sound empathetic, but really only amounts to saying "murder is bad."
A nearby detective indirectly calls it out by saying "nah we good with it".
I am struggling to find a single word that properly describes the politicians statement. I am essentially looking for a word that describes a statement meant to sound poetic and/or intelligent, but has little substance. I have looked online and none of the words I have seen quite fit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’vI’ve been using the Tangzu Wan’er SG for the past two years in a rather humid environment, and I use them daily for about 5-6 hours, both in the morning and at night. Recently, I’ve noticed that the filters are coming loose and are no longer adhering properly. I’ve cleaned them multiple times with isopropyl alcohol whenever I felt the channel balance was off.
