-Which ones do you recommend? -Any I should stay away from? -Any that I've missed?

throwaway acc okay im 16 since im in the uk i leave highschool this year in around june-january i think idfk thats not the point the point is i have no fucking clue what i want to do after
like everyone i know is expecting me to go to college after but even if i do go i dont know what i want to do there like do i do art, what type of art, level 1-3 I DONT KNOW and honestly i dont really care i couldnt give two shits about it but i also dont want to fuck up my future cause of how i feel right now
i lowkey wanna be one of those artists that make keychains stickers and all that fun stuff but how do i do that i dont know i dont even know how to set up a job application cause my stupid anxiety has stopped me from going to school for 2 years and i have no motivation for studying
wish i could just skip to when my life is easier
anyway if anyone has any tips for me please let me know i cannot keep worrying about this

2024.11.27 16:40 Radical_Ice How I would breathe life into WoW pvp.
This was my response to a previous post who asked why open world pvp feels so dead.
Posting it here as a separate post because I think it would be a cool change for both the pvp and PvE community.
(my opinion) Lack of participation is probably due to:
- lack of incentives. It was good to do world pvp early on for that extra conquest, honor, and bloody tokens for gear. At a certain point, it just becomes unnecessary, especially after conquest becomes uncapped. They should have a pvp cosmetic store where you earn currency to buy cosmetic pvp items. This would include transmogs, mounts, and eventually housing items. Blizzard can keep adding to the pvp store every season so you always have a reason to engage in all pvp activities.
- lack of fun open world pvp activities. It's fun farming sparks and doing world pvp quests...for a bit. Over time these activities become stale. How would I fix this? I would implement the ashenvale pvp event from season of discovery into retail. However, I wouldn't keep it locked to just ashenvale. I would bring this event to all zones. This would be a great way to bring life to all the old world zones. This event could happen every other hour. This could happen in stranglethorn vale, desolace, and so on. The winning faction could receive a nice hour long buff after, and maybe access to an exclusive vendor in that zone. After that event ends, maybe a bunch of open world elite bosses spawn in that area for an hour after the battle. The elites would not be easy to kill, but they could drop end game gear and rewards. The winning faction would have an advantage during the PvE fights with their new hour long buff. This would encourage both pvp and PvE players to engage in this mode because of the valuable rewards. If we need a lore reason for this event, it could be "there is instability in (region). A rogue group of (faction) is causing havoc. I have already spoken to (faction leader) and they have denied any involvement in these attacks. We must put them down."

El motivo principal del post era saber si podrian recomendarme accesorios para una Glock 19x, tales como linterna, red dot, snapcaps u articulos de limpieza. Seria mi primer arma por lo que cualquier consejo es bien recibido y tambien se que lo mejor es afianzarme con el arma antes de agregarle cosas, pero es para ir teniendo en cuenta. Uno de los accesorios que me encanto es la linterna streamlight TLR-7A, el problema es que no se consigue aca y tambien es bastante cara (vi algunas muy baratas en aliexpress pero no se si ingresaran o tienen algun inconveniente). 2024.11.27 16:40 randominthevoid 4 year old XPS: replace or repair?
I have an XPS 13 from 2020. It is a nice little machine, and I previously owned the version from 2017, which I also enjoyed. However, in the past year I've noticed it gets very hot very frequently, while running Netflix or YouTube in particular. Netflix might be the second tab open, with just emails in the other one, so there's not an overwhelming number of programs running. The fan is honestly pretty loud and concerns me. I have a stand on the case, so it never sits flush, and I've never dropped it, put it in dusty environments, or downloaded a ton of content. In fact I think I've only used a 4th of the storage. And I keep the screen dim, as I have sensitive eyes. I'm not contributing to the problem, basically. The next problem: the battery life is TERRIBLE. It dies in 2-3 hours, even when I'm not using YouTube or Netflix. I noticed a year or so ago that even if it is half charged, when I try to turn it on first thing in the day, it won't turn on unless it's plugged in. And then I see how much it's charged. I'm really tired of how limiting that issue is, but I'm now in Italy, where there's a language barrier on top of finding the right tech help issue. Basically, is it worth it to buy a battery and wade into the price arguments? Is there a guarantee it'll fix all 3 of my problems? Because if it doesn't fix them all, I'm not so keen on starting the process. I enjoy Dell but I'm wary, as my last laptop broke in a very peculiar way, and now with this one acting up, maybe it's time to switch companies. Anyone have any advice or thoughts on the matter?

2024.11.27 16:40 PrimaryGap7816 When rendering a GUI, is ot better to render each element as an individual texture, or is it better to batch them all into a single texture?
By GUI I refer to elements such as runtime-generated text, interface rects, buttons, and the likes of that.
Do you often render each one of these with their own individual texture or do you create some dynamically-generated atlas and batch all of them into it at once?
This might be hard to implement (although not impossible), but frequent texture changes are bad for the fps and this could help minimize them.
Personally, texture changes were never a problem for my pc, and I don’t know how many texture changes per frame is acceptable. I might be a little way too paranoid.

2024.11.27 16:40 jayzeem LM35 sensor is getting way too hot
 | I have a project where I have to build a simple circuit with the lm35 sensor and an op amp where if the heat sensor detects heat up until a certain threshold the red LED should light up otherwise the green one should be lit up. However, the LM35 sensor is getting extremely hot up to the point where it burnt my finger. I've tried three different heat sensors and two different op amps with the same result.
