hey guys-
I'm new to Reddit so please bear with me if I ask any dumb questions..
I just moved from the West Coast to Virginia..I found a listing for a place that is basically a small studio in someone's house..like a sunroom upstairs that's been nicely renovated by this cool gay couple,lol..anywayz..they are only asking 800 a month, which I believe is good for the area I live in, right outside a major city. My question is-they want to charge 1st,last month's rent AND a security deposit, so 3x 800.00..is this normal or is this a scam?? I am a college student with no experience renting as I lived with my cousin in his house before this..thanks for reading!

2024.11.27 17:50 Brief-Cut-1228 GGG I hope you don't change the difficulty during the release I want to try the hardest version of the game and I feel like this will be it. Don't change anything difficulty related at least for a month or two.
I just want to try the game for how they want it to release. This will mean a lot of crying on reddit to nerf monsters for sure. However if the game is too hard for you all I got to say to you is get good. Die in a map lock yourself out of your current atlas path tough shit find another way to go your softcore at least you keep your character. Is the game too hard as a hardcore player tough shit get good they even told ziggy to play softcore this time around. The game atleast in poe1 offers ways to make encounters easier like going back to lower tier maps and farming for better gear that is the only way players should be able to make content easier not cry at the devs for an easier experience. This game has effectively hit a massive audience so do not falter to the difficulty bashing these people played elden ring they can get good. Everyone is on a pseudo new player level even POE1 veterans I think poe1 players will scream the loudest however do not listen to us for atleast 2 months please they just think they know the game, but infact they do not reason being we have multiple six links now for example.
All in all I trust that GGG will make the right decisions for the game, however I do hope they stick to their guns even if it is to a detriment to player numbers atleast for the release if you guys are anything like me I don't have any other games holding my attention right now poe1 necro settler I didn't even play, played some pd2 that didn't hold me for long and I need the feast that poe2 will provide even if I gotta corpse throw my way through it like I did in poe1 my first playthrough long ago yes POE1 was a very hard game.

I tested positive for C.diff 6 days ago and am on day 6 of my Vancomycin treatment. My boyfriend is currently taking Omeprazole (a ppi) for a hiatal hernia that he has which causes him severe reflux. He cannot stop taking this medication. My question is: once my symptoms are gone and I am considered ‘cured’ is there a chance I could infect him even without an active infection? How can I resume a normal life and sex life with him?
The c.diff subreddit is locked, so I am not able to ask this question there. In the FAQ it states that I will be colonized for life, and can be contagious to people who are taking ppi’s, which my partner is. Is this true? How can I ever resume a normal life with my partner if so?

I realized my switch has been out of its proper time for a while (because I also play animal crossing and I would like to keep my island the way I want it.)
I’ve also been completing the star path unsure if it ended or not, then I got a message in the mail saying it’s ending (ofc it didn’t say when) so I looked it up and it did end.
But I was able to still collect the music note things, this was two days ago btw, so I went a little further back in time and I noticed my scrooge shop changed, ik it’s randomized but now I don’t have to wait a whole day for new things!
Sadly it doesn’t work for the premium shop or old Dreamsnaps.

2024.11.27 17:50 Bubbly-Obligation357 Exercises in lieu of Running/Z2 for Green Protocol Capacity
Hi,
Im just finishing up Capacity in green protocol, and for some reason developed a pain in my achilles when running. I keep taking 2-4 days off of running but it just comes back once I do any Z2/LSS runs over 20 mins.
I started doing eccentric heel lowering and other exercises to increase achilles strength, but I dont think it is a good idea to keep running for at least 3 weeks while this heals (is this a good move?).
I do want to keep the aerobic benefits I got from the 3 months of running though, so instead of running, what else can I do to keep my legs and aerobic system primed for running once I heal? Would using only the rowing machine be ok?
