I have never been one to track my teams value and I understand there are many players who play FPL trying to achieve the highest team value. I’m trying to gauge where I’d sit amongst the people who play the game in this fashion.
After 12 GWS, my team value currently sits at 102.3 M. For people that do track their team value, is this good, bad, average?

Heya, I have been given a 27inch iMac loaded with os x on it. I have made a hackintosh but it's unreliable and I want to upgrade the GPU to get a gaming pc again.
Is updating this iMac worth it. As I would be installing Sonoma, plus need to pay out for a new screen on it which will cost me about 100 quid.
This one has Intel i5 3.2 32gb ram Nvidea gt755m 1gb And a tb harddrive

Just because something caused people to viscerally get repulsed and sad, doesn't mean that it is great writing. I've had friends who loved this book defend it with their all. While I get why people might be emotionally moved, this is cheap writing that just elicits such a reaction from the reader.
We actually don't see any of Jude's working through his trauma or how it impacts his life and the ways he manages to actually be that high functioning and smart. It feels like the author just made the perfect character that almost always conveniently perfect and deserving of everyone's attention and empathy because they're so broken that it glamorises and romanticises this pain. That part just isn't realistic to me. We don't see a lot of character and personality of jude, some parts that were moving and true were how someone that went through abuse would internalise the shame and feels unworthy of love.
But the unnecessary, extensive details about the abuse rather than what the victim had to deal with as an aftermath were not discussed except the self harm. I think that would be important because of how jude is a prodigy, a top lawyer. And making him this high functioning leads to a sort of glamorisation of our protagonist.
To give jude the pass to almost anything because he has suffered so much, and in her interviews, the author says she intended to write a character that doesn't get better, and to me that sounds very malicious.
My last straw was, Jude's last breaking point (won't mention here to avoid spoilers) but that felt so abrupt and unnecessary and malicious.

2024.11.27 17:46 Several-Custard4215 GPU fans randomly spinning while PC is powered OFF
Gigabyte b450m d3sh (refurbished) RTX 3080 Ryzen 5 5600x
Some context I haven’t replaced any parts in a long time. I’ve had a few issues in the past including
-Powering on PC black screen GPU or motherboard flashing -4 usb 2.0 ports not working -Plugging in USB causes black screen GPU flashing (still happens rarely)
Since updating the bios to F65 which was the newest one at the time, I haven’t had many issues. I just found out bios F65 isn’t available anymore from it causing people to brick right after updating so i’m kinda scared to touch it.
My current issue is since i updated the GPU drivers 2 days ago, while my PC is powered off the GPU will randomly spin full speed for about 2 seconds and while spinning down I hear a faint pop sound. I notice this happens like 3 times at night.
Is this a bad thing? Anyone have any advice? Is this likely a short because then I’ll want to take it somewhere for someone to check for them.

So I was doing some teenage boy stuff (yk how it is) when all of a sudden my dad walks in. Now the way my pc is positioned makes it so he can't see what I'm doing from the door and has to walk over to see what I'm doing. So he starts walking over and Opera GX decides now would be the time to freeze. It then finally minimises itself JUST before my dad is able to see. If my browser had been frozen for a second more I would've been caught. It was scary stuff tbh saw my life flash before my eyes
