Hi all,
I’m 18, recently graduated high school, and am currently on a gap year. I live in Toronto and have never traveled outside my province, let alone my country. I’ve started working part-time and saved around $4k, with plans to keep working throughout the year. Traveling has always been a dream of mine, and I’m eager to open my eyes to the world.
That said, my friends are all in university and can’t afford bigger trips, like the two week trip to Japan I’ve been dreaming about. While I know how fun it would be to travel with them, it’s just not possible right now. So, I’ve started considering solo travel. As someone who’s never really traveled before, the idea of being on the other side of the world and being lonely is daunting.
I’d love to hear your thoughts: Is solo travel a good idea for a first-timer? Are there ways to meet people while traveling (apps, groups, etc. as I only know english)? Also, I’m open to destination suggestions that might be better suited for a first solo trip while still offering a chance to see the world.
Any advice is greatly appreciated, thank you! 😊

My son and I recently watched a YouTube video about how bad the original Street Fighter game was, and of course now we want to play it. Lol. I haven’t had much luck finding a playable ROM of it though. I have had a hard time even finding a clear answer of what system it was on. I know it wasn’t on NES. I found a ROM of an arcade version but it’s locking up my pi when I try to play it. (No buttons respond at all, not even to get out of the game back to the main menu… had to resort to a hard reset.)
Long story short…. anyone know where we can find the original Street Fighter? Thanks!

I am not fully love and light but l'm not fully dark either. I find that if you're too far deep on either side it's disingenuous. With that being said, I've been trying to balance both by staying as neutral as possible.
I want to harness the power of both, yet looking to the shadows/darkness frightens me because I know how dark I can be and have been due to my traumatic life experiences.
I have been learning to take in light and I see it more than ever. I have been guided by Arch Angel Michael and Aphrodite through this last year and because of this, I have seen my shadow self/demon in my dreams. It's like my vision is getting clearer.
How do I recognize that part of myself without letting it take over as times have proven before? I feel that it's very very hard to stay grounded and to focus. It's like the demon/shadow self is stopping me from going forward because:
-there is so much information on the internet. who do you trust, what will be helpful to you, and where the fuck do you start. There's an endless amount of information out there. -adhd and dopamine play into that factor. Endless scrolling has and endless amounts of dopamine. It's hard to concentrate, study, focus. -also financial comes into play. I want to learn. I want books. I want the tools yet feel that whenever I come into some money it gets ripper away by the problems of the human world. Aka car, house, family, mental health, physical health problems.
Where do you begin, when you are so intuitive, when you are so vulnerable, when you can be susceptible of things because this is the start of something new and being naive in this subject is unethical and unprincipled in my opinion. I have so much respect yet haven't started my journey thoroughly.
I don't want to offended any deity or demon. I don't want to hurt myself or others. I want to stay protected and protect others. I want to use these intuitive abilities that I cannot explain but I do not fully understand them. That is my dilemma.
I know l'm all over the place but if anyone has any understanding of where l'm coming from at all I'd appreciate your input.

The cellar puzzles with the runes you have to step and dodge away before they explode are impossible to do as a Druid, because my creeper vines or ravens set off the runes randomly. I’ve searched and found people saying you can disable them temporarily but I can’t find anywhere HOW to. I’ve removed them from the action bar, but they still are passively there.

Hey all. Sorry if this isn’t allowed here, but figured I’d try. I have a portable air tank that I filled up and has around 30PSI. I am hoping to use it to fill up my car tires. I open up the valve and have an attachment to press down and then air comes out with the valve open. I then put it on the car tire and try to put air in, but it doesn’t seem like it’s adding any air. The air is definitely coming out of the tank when I don’t have it on the tire though and press the lever. Should the valve be closed on the tank? I’m confused why it’s not working. Thanks for any help!
