I came up with the basic idea for this last night:
Essentially, you find a point on the map where a lot of samples are piled together(mostly Common or Rare, with a Super thrown in here and there). However, when you start collecting the samples, you are suddenly surrounded on all sides by a large amount of enemies (Its a Trap!!). So, you have the choice of stay, get the rest of the samples, and risk dying, or fight your way out and continue on with what you have.

2024.11.27 18:43 SpasmodicSpasmoid Will changing the tyre aspect ratio number be a problem that is worth nothing about?
Can I change tyres from 205 70 r15 to 205 65 r15? I’m assuming I won’t need new rims. But the overall size of the wheel will change and therefor the speedometer will be out?
Do I need to declare this to insurance
Will it fail any MOT or checks like that?
The reason is because I can find good acceptable deals from quality tyre manufacturers to my budget for all weather tyres for one size, but not the other. Granted the car is only an old 2002 Honda crv but it’s only worth a grand but where I live I don’t want chinesium crap tyres. We get bad weather regularly. Highish (for UK) altitude.
If I go for the 65’s I can get a decent “premium” brand all weather tyres for £100-£120 a corner (I need 4).
But for the 70’s they’re £180-200 and I could do with saving the money before Xmas.
I’d rather not get offbrand crap Chinese all weather tyres for £150 each when for less than that on the 65’s I could have got a Pirelli or Michelin or bf Goodrich with money to spare.
Sorry if it’s complicated, I’d rather get all weather tyres instead of winter if possible as I will have to buy a set of 4 summer tyres in the spring which id rather avoid.

Candidly I haven’t looked into any tokens, I did sort on Coinmarketcap and see volume to get an idea of what people are buying, one project is OORT, which shot up by like 700%.

 | My second real life-inspired train MOC is done. Modeled after my favorite 4-4-0, the model represents the JNR’s 5500 class. The model started life as a digital design since late January of this year. I expected it to be finished a lot earlier than this, but certain real life events I won’t go into stopped my ability to buy bricks for a time. Luckily that situation’s over, and I resumed ordering until the engine was done. The model is powered by a single Powered Up train motohub, and performs quite well. My favorite thing about it has to be the cab. It’s the most accurate cab I’ve done to date, all thanks to finding a random YT video of someone touring the locomotive. Anyways, enjoy.  | I've been looking for a more casual boot to wear for the rest of fall/winter. I came across the Grant Stone Diesel and Parkhurst Allen from this sub. This post won't be a full review or comparison between the two, but I wanted to post some pictures and share some brief thoughts in case anyone is deciding between these two boots. Sizing: I have the Grant Stone in a 7.5D and the Parkhurst in a 7.5. To me, both fit similarly. I am a Brannock 9B, so I have relatively narrow feet. My favorite shoes are Common Projects, which I wear in a size 40. I wear a 9 in Nikes. Construction/Quality: I'll let the pictures speak for this mostly. Both look and feel like quality products to me. One thing I noticed is that the Parkhurst boots are quite light compared to the Grant Stone. Shape: At first glance, these look very similar, but to me, this is what differentiates these boots the most. The Parkhurst 618 last has a shape that I absolutely love. The toe is slightly more almond-shaped, and by the ball of the foot, they are slightly wider. To me, this just makes the boot look really sleek. I mentioned my favorite shoes are Common Projects, and I've tried various similar shoes but always come back to the CPs because I have yet to find a shoe with the same shape. To me, the shape of these boots has achieved a special look that I have not seen elsewhere. Which ones am I keeping? I got the Grant Stone first and thought I would definitely be keeping them. Now that I have both, I am definitely keeping the Parkhurst. I'm trying to decide if I want to keep both, but to be honest, I don't really see a situation where I would choose the Grant Stone over the Parkhurst. I work as an a barista and something happened during my shift recently. I've been thinking a lot about it lately.
The other day, a blind customer came my job and was getting around by herself. I welcomed her as she headed to the counter and said, "would you like any assistance to the counter?" since the coffee shop where I work is tiny and hard to get around due to the amount of customers and several chairs in the way.
"No, I'm good, thanks ," she responded, in a tone that hinted irritation. After successfully placing her coffee order, it came time to pay. I waited patiently while she inserted her card into the reader. After her first comment, I retreated from trying to assist her. She was clearly having trouble, so I asked if she could help entering her card. To which she said, "Are you ableist?!?!" "Oh no ma'am, I just want to help you!" was my response to her.
I have previously assisted numerous blind clients who asked for help. removing the straw wrappers at times bringing their drinks to their seats, and even helping them in locating the restroom. She went on to say, "I'm a dancer and I do ballet," along with a few other unrelated things that I am unable to recall, but I didn't want to cause her any stress.
"I will be right back, I'm going to the restroom," she said after she completed her payment, and I replied, "Okay ma'am," as she stood right in front of the counter (the drink pickup was down the bar). While heading to the restroom (which can be found in the far right corner), she slammed into a wall.
After becoming frustrated, she flung her cane on the floor and started yelling, "IS NO ONE GOING TO HELP ME?" As I said earlier, I am the kind of person that would love helping anyone in need. lately though, I've been worried that by asking, I might have come across as judging or as believing they couldn't handle it on their own. I was simply trying to be polite; I really didn't mean it that way. But was I wrong to ask at all? AITA?
