Say you fire up your ASCI character generator to an infinite random sequence. We know that somewhere along that infinite line, the complete works of Shakespeare will generate. So what happens if as soon as the complete works of the bard are done it starts again. And again, infinitely. And suppose the infinite character generator has not done the entire works of say Steven King because the infinite line of text is stuck doing the infinite Shakespeare stuff. Can we say it's truly infinite if it's stuck on an internal infinite loop?

 | Hello! | have had one piercing for about 4 years now and no matter what I do it seems like it won't heal. I have 11 total ear piercings (5 lobe 6 cartilage) as well as one directly next to the problem piercing and all have healed perfectly except the one. I've followed all the advice I can find, and by my knowledge have done everything right. It is a constant cycle of appearing to heal and then the moment I let my guard down it gets angry again (red, warm, and with a tiny bit of yellow pus). 2024.11.27 18:43 DeadPixel3D RTX4080 Freezes PC when accessing display settings on windows 11
I've been struggling with a persistent issue that has carried over from my previous PC. Despite building a new system with an AMD 9800X3D processor and Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite WiFi 7 motherboard. I'm experiencing frequent freezes whenever I access the Display Settings in Windows 11. The entire system, including the mouse and keyboard, becomes unresponsive for several seconds before returning to normal.
The only hardware part that remained the same from my previous build is the GPU - RTX 4080.
The problem seems to worsen when making changes to display or monitor settings, such as adding a second monitor or adjusting refresh rate or resolution. In some cases, the freeze can last up to 20 seconds.
Given that the issue is specific to display settings and involves the GPU, I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered a similar problem and found a solution without replacing the GPU.
I know this is Windows related subreddit, but I wonder if there's something windows related I can do that might solve the issue.

We purchased this house about two years ago and didn’t have any indication of moisture in the basement being the issue until about a week ago. We had a lot of rain where the sump pump was running more through the evening and night.
The laundry room is unfinished, and there never seems to be any indication of moisture in there… except during this storm where there was the slightest of damp spots coming from underneath.
Our basement floors, for the first time ever, had a little bit water coming up through the cracks when I put a lot of pressure on the vinyl planks. We ran a dehumidifier and fans for about a week, and it seemed to dry up. Some brownish crust came up through the cracks. We took up the flooring about a week after we noticed water, and discovered there was still Moisture underneath. It was more wet toward the middle of the basement than by the walls. It dried up fairly quickly once the floors were up.
I’m not entirely sure what I should do next. Do I put down a vapor barrie underlayment where it was wet? Do I need to pull up the floors throughout the entire basement and put underlayment? Is it a drainage issue that I need to address outside? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I was using my entry level Tushy today and noticed, for the first time, a massive cloud of ass-mist rising from toilet in front of me. I suppose the light struck the cloud just right today for me to see it. Assumably, I’ve been ass-misting my little bathroom for years now.
I live in a very humid area, and my toilet develops mold very quickly. I can only assume the ass-mist is making it worse. The cheap Tushy’s stream is very small, tight, and powerful, which I assume must be the cause of the mist.
I’ve used some nicer bidets abroad while traveling, and noticed that some do indeed have “thicker”streams that do the job at much lower pressure. The cheap Tushy is more or less the same as jamming a Super Soaker™️ down there.
Can anyone recommend their low pressure, wide-stream bidets to help combat my toilet mold and ass-mist? Thanks in advance.

Well the same just happened to me, but through Agoda.
Brand new card, only used on Agoda for a single transaction a few weeks ago, and the bank sent me a message saying they've frozen the card due to a series of small attempted transactions from Vietnam.
And definitely the Agoda transaction was valid as the hotel had the booking and it was paid
Seems this is reasonably common with Agosa/Booking.com, I really wonder now about their data security and the people that are working there.

My wife will be flying from Zürich, Switzerland to Athens and she needs to get an entry stamp on her passport. Is this possible (i.e, is there passport control?) I believe there is no passport control when you remain within Schengen, but I wanted to ask if anybody knows how to get in anyway.
