In this scenario the 1860 election was thrown into the House, and the South got enough states to elect Breckinridge. His tenure is marked by ever-increasing tensions and polarizing opinion, enough to the point where the Northern Democrats either sit out 1864 or join the Republicans. Either way, William Seward is nominated and elected President.
After this, the scenario becomes speculative: the Deep South secedes, but who do they elect as provisional president? Do they go with the failed 1864 candidate, whoever that is, or Jefferson Davis for reasons identical to those in our timeline? What do the border states do this time? I can see Tennessee sticking with the Union due to the influence of those eastern, mountainous counties and the increased polarization of opinion, as well as split Virginia. Kentucky might secede instead, due to Breckinridge's influence. Speaking of which, how does an outgoing secessionist president complicate things? Obviously the arsenals are even less defended than in 1860-61, but do Forts Sumter and Pickens hold? What have the domestic politics of an intervening four years altered?
This is just a thought exercise, so feel free to add whatever comes to mind, no matter how implausible on its face.

I started with around 200k wood, so I've recycled around 100k so far. I've never once received tree seeds though. Top counter is remaining wood in my logistics network, the 0's are tree seeds of each quality level. The wood reprocessing recipe is from the recycler right?
I'm fairly sure everything points to a biter conspiracy. They know once they see my legendary small pole (heh) they will all be forced to bow down and worship me.

I’ll just state the facts - she’s 3 in April - she’s advanced for her age, her language skills are well above - no conditions etc that would make her not be able to go to the potty (except I am ADHD which may be her but she doesn’t exhibit any behaviour out of the usual toddler) - not afraid of the potty or reluctant to do it - uses the toilet when she feels like, knows the sequence of wiping, flushing, washing hands usually without much prompting
HOWEVER
She just DOES NOT go everytime and I think this is a failing on my part. She will go when she feels like it, I’ve changed her to big girl pants when she was good at going the potty done sticker chats etc, then for a few days she literally peed everywhere around the house and it stressed me out so I thought she wasn’t ready and put her back in nappies. I should have rode it out but I have a full time (demanding) job and I was just severely stressed out to be honest.
The fact that I put her back in nappies whenever she is regressing is probably adding to it but also I think maybe the fact when she’s with my grandmother (her childminder) while she’s in work isn’t helping g - as my gran isn’t exactly mobile enough to be playing with her constantly then I know she has a serious amount of screen time. Which I don’t feel in my right to tell my fran not to give to her as I know it’s a struggle for her to childmind anyway without me placing demands like that. I can’t afford a daycare right now due not being able to afford it (which is a joke considering I work a job a bit above the minimum wage but that’s a different argument) At home then I try to limit screen time but the demanding job I have getting home late and then just needing to do daily chores etc I just give her the sceeen. I’m not sure if screen time is associated with not progressing with potty training but I feel it could be.
Anyway what do I do how do I get her to comprehend she has to go EVERYTIME I explain to her everyday that she needs to go everytime but obviously she’s a toddler and it just doesn’t sink in through words. How much time should I dedicate, what actions and reactions - I think the way I’ve done it has sort of made her feel like she can just go when she wants because I haven’t been consistent

So to say I’ve been through a lot would be an understatement, and it’s too much and too personal at times to get into here. Basically I’ve experienced depression since 14, anxiety got thrown in the mix there not too long after. And I’ve also had a lot of bad relationship experiences: think of the worst betrayals or breaches of trust - I’ve had those.
I’ve been with my current partner for over 6 months now. They’re honestly a breath of fresh air in a lot of ways, and they’re also really good in helping with the general trauma I’ve experienced from past relationships - panic attacks, depressive lows, nightmares, all that jazz.
They let me talk things out, even the things that are hard to hear or they don’t understand. They just listen, try to understand, and when relevant they reassure me. They constantly reassure me of their trust in me, in us together, and that I’m not too much to handle when I’m in my bad place (which is really often to be honest)
I just have a really hard time believing them. They’re not a dishonest person (I hope so anyway), and we’ve been friends for years even before we started dating. I know logically and rationally that I have a hard time believing their compliments or reassurances because of my trust being broken many times before, in both romantic and platonic instances. I know this logically, and trust me I’ve been through a lot of therapy that has also tried to tell me this.
I guess if anyone has any advice on recovering from this, it would really help me. I love my partner so much and want to be the best partner I can be for them, but I know that I’m not, and I’m worried I’m going to lose them.
If people have any words of wisdom about moving on, or helping to learn to trust and believe people again, I’d really appreciate it.
