2024.11.27 19:47 atom024 Currently on anti anxiety medication. I'm starting to thing it's affecting my life decisions.
I been on my medication for over a year and it's been great. My anxiety was finally controlled. I felt amazing. But now I'm starting to realize that it might of fuwked me over. The world seemed perfect, I got engaged wedding was around the corner. When I ran out of medication and after a few days (had issues with the pharmacy) I started to feel the affects of not being on it. Normal I guess. And I realized I was so oblivious while being on it I missed a lot of red flags. From my relationship to my own mental and physical health. Now I'm debating if I should go back on my medication? I felt amazing on it but it basically pushed any problems down the road.

I have a design for a turnbuckle that I want a PE to certify working load limits for. Is this a mechanical engineering thing? Or structural?
All of the structural engineers I have talked to are about building foundations and so forth, the mechanical engineers are about MEP and wastewater and HVAC.
Who do I talk to to have an analysis done on a load-bearing component to understand what the thing is capable of?

I recently got an inquiry from someone asking if I could create a Shopify store for his business. He had a WordPress site with nearly 5k products, and it was doing okay, but I took a look at it, explained what all needs to be done and gave him a fair quote, keeping my margins low to make sure I could secure the work. After that, I didn't hear anything back from him, which, after being in this business for a few months, isn't exactly new. He must have gone with someone else. Fair enough.
But recently, I noticed his account pop up on my social media. Out of curiosity, I checked out his website again. He had moved to Shopify. But the site. to be honest, the design was poor, and the content was all over the place. It looks like the guy building the website abandoned the work, possibly because he agreed to do it at a lower cost and later realized it was too much.
I get it, everyone wants to minimize costs when building a website, but sometimes I wonder – is it really worth it to cut corners this much? Your website is your business's online face, and I just don’t get why people end up with something that hurts their brand like this.

I just received a TBNT from American after the virtual group interview. I was already denied from Delta after my virtual interview.
I was so confident after my VGI with AA and I thought I did really well. I felt that way about Delta too. I prepared extremely well and answered the questions without any issues. I thought I’d be invited to F2F for at least AA but I wasn’t.
I’m still waiting to hear from United and Alaska Airlines, so I am trying to keep hope, but I’m not sure what I did wrong with the other two. United I applied to over a month ago and I still haven’t heard from them yet.
Does anyone have advice for United and Alaska if I do get invited to their virtual interviews? Feeling pretty down but I want to keep hope.

Hi, I am a 25 y/o who has never been in a relationship. I have been severely depressed for the past few years, but have slowly been getting better. I think a lot of this is related to my sexual identity.
Until age 20 or so, I thought I was only into women, but I now think I am into men — either in addition to, or instead of women. I have made my way out to hang out with my local LGBT community, but I feel uncomfortable being with the people there (mainly gay men). I constantly have this voice that tells me that I’m not like all of them. Whenever a woman or straight couple passes, I fixate on them and become distressed that I am seemingly pidgeonholed into being gay.
I have been telling people that I am gay, but I still internally believe that I am into women, which causes me a lot of distress.
When I think about sex, I guess I think about being a bottom.
I think a big part of the issue is that I believed until a pretty late age that I was straight, and now I don’t even know if I’m into women.
Again, I’ve never been in a relationship. I’m also very anxious in general and not exactly a socially comfortable person.
I also fear social situations where someone might ask about my relationship status or who I’m attracted to. I get very uncomfortable around these topics.
