I've reached a settlement with the company that took over my credit card loan, and I'll be paying the agreed sum soon. My question is, I believe the central credit register will keep a red flag on my account for two years. If I apply for a loan, will this be shown to the finance company eg car loan? Is there any way I can request the central credit register to remove this red flag or add a note to my account indicating that the outstanding loan has been paid?

Hebrews 13: 8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. --- There is great meaning attached to this being connected to the verse before it, which instructed us to remember our leaders who spoke the truth of God, to see how their way of life produced an outcome and how to imitate their faith. We are all human. Even the leaders are human. Even those great prophets of old that prophesied what is in the Word, what has already come true, and what will yet come true, even they were human. That's why those verses talk about considering the outcome of their way of life. The way of life. Not the way they fail. Yet accounting for failures is one of the things that is offered to us by our way of life. Imitating their faith does not mean we suddenly are measured by a standard of "super-Christian," where now if we are faithful, we get to live like that. No, it says to imitate their faith.
There is no try, only do, you may think. In some instances, like Star Wars and other places, that might be the case, but regarding walking in the righteousness of Christ, we can't do. We can't be righteous. We are to consider the outcome of their way of life because we can't be the same as them, but we can see what they are going for. We can see how God was using them. We can look to see how they are faithful, and just imitate it. It isn't fake if it leads to something real.
Someone trying to be someone else in this world, like a fan trying to be like a star, that's fake. The object of worship is fake, the admiration and love are fake, and the attempt to be like that star could only be fake, too. When we try to be like those who are loving though, really righteous, really genuine, and they don't have to try to be, that's when we get to attach to something actually real.
When we consider what they were living for, how God was showing His glory through them, what they were living for, and what it means to imitate their faith, it leads us to Jesus Christ. The next verse. He is the same, yesterday, today, and tomorrow. We can always rely on Him. So when we look to those from the past who have served the Lord, we don't need to look to them to be the perfect examples of righteous servitude and faithfulness and try and copy them. That's not what God leads us to in His Word in those two verses. He is leading us to look to them as examples of Him being the same always. He is the One who enables us to be like that.
I am encouraged that God is showing me that He has already done this work for me and will continue to do so. My life may look imperfect from the outside, but God is working so much for His glory inside that it amazes me. He's even leading me to give testimony about it. I can only put my trust in Him when I think of how the evil one works and all the ways he will attempt to steal, kill, and destroy. I am thankful that He has turned my eyes toward heaven, that I can only be overcome by the love I see in others when He is showing His love through them, so I know that He will bind us together in His love, and I can trust Him because He never changes. He is always all-in-all.

Lord God in Heaven, thank you for not changing on us. Thank you that we can rely on you in all things. Not only do you not change, but your love doesn't change, and that is how you lead us to grow in your love. We can rely on you and your love to remain the same. So when we look at a "love" that seems to change all the time, day to day, even throughout the day, we can know that it is not your love. It is a fleshly love, because we change. We shift with the sands. We get blown this way and that by winds of falsity.
We can't rely on a love like that, we can only rely on your love. It is your love that doesn't change, even while you change us, and so we always know what to look for in another when we want to see you. This helps us to consider what you are doing through people, as well as imitate the faith that you show through them. I pray that you will open our eyes and hearts to the truth of what you are doing in the lives of those who serve you so we can be united in your Spirit and join you in your work together. Please bless us together so that we can see it is what you are doing. I pray this in your precious name, Jesus Christ, amen.

I thought I will take classes but I kept delaying and delaying next thing I just forgot and because of that I'm once again behind in academics. I thought maybe this time I should really focus and get my mind right, go back to college and get my degree. But last time I taken glasses were almost in 2022. I was only completing the prerequisite classes for radiology tech program. But the Allied healthcare advisor said it's highly competitive program, many students want to get in the program but only 20-25 of them are accepted. I was later suggested to transfer ucf for getting bachelor degree. And I also don't have enough credits for that either. I still don't know really what to puruse. Should I continue with radiology tech program or something. I don't even know my financial aid status.

I’ve read hints that something bad happened to the band, but it’s been radio silence from them. Meanwhile Jon, Erik and Luke have played together separately post-pandemic in Maine. We’re all getting older. It’s time to bury the hatchet and get on with the music.

Oi! I hope I didn't come to a wrong place.
So, I really adore the eerie vibe of old versions. Y'know, low chunk rendering distance, weird structures, the feeling of being watched all the time. But I'm also a big fan of new versions (especially after 1.16) stylistically and gameplay-wise.. And after seeing some mods I've conceived an idea of collecting mods that could bring back a bit of those surreal horror vibes without breaking the immersion TOO much and without turning the game into a jumpscare simulator. And maybe while still being compatible with rpg playstyle lol. Couple of examples with my reasoning behind it because I can't explain it in single sentence:
So far I've got mods such as Root of fear, which expands on the horror aspect of the Pale Garden and adds a beast that would attack you from time to time. It fits the minecraft style, its sound and visual design are great, and mechanics are faithful to new gimmick mobs such as Warden or, well, the Creaking — it's not just a dweller-like creature that will kill you no matter what, it mostly just spooks you with its unexpected presence and even when it finally attacks you still can easily fight it off with keeping the lights on until daylight, so it also doesn't really break the balance either
And I've put my eyes on an upcoming mod called Detour, which (as I see it judging from the trailers) adds a multitude of liminal vibes and gameplay activities to do while keeping stylistic balance between funky visuals of new versions and eerieness of old versions
Also I've noticed mods like From the Fog and In your world that I've never tried yet. Judging by their descriptions, they add just the things I need — mobs stare at you from time to time, random buildings, sounds, etc. But... I've also seen a monster from In your world and it just not that. It just looks like some youtube horror spook that actively annoys the player. Not sure about Herobrine in From the fog, though — if he doesn't act too aggressive and lets me play the game normally I could install it. The Wilted from Root of Fear just already does the job of pursuing me pretty well lol. So I'm not really sure about these two, correct me if I'm wrong and/or I could configure these
I could possibly add even something like Cannibal Conundrum that adds new cannibal-themed villages and mobs, but without really getting too unfitting — every new mob is a form of illager, textures and models are vanilla-stylized, and tools from exploring these villages are also useful to the player
So yeah, these might be enough, but I couldn't find any similar discussions and I thought I could find here something new to add to my modpack...

My main concern with a smartwatch os battery life. I have four smartwatches and while the built-in apps are adequate, the battery life is abysmal. I see watches that promote batteries at 15-30 days on standby and 6-10 of actual wearing.
I dont need fitness stuff or social media stuff, just blood work (blood sugaglucose, blood pressure, etc), setting alarms and the ability to print logs from the app.
Useful suggestions appreciated. I have read so many ads on these things and most of the vendors lie about features.

I mainly play The Witcher 3, Silent Hill 2, God of WaSpiderman games, Warzone, and Valorant. I currently have a GTX 1060 3GB. Need to be able to make the most out of this new build for the next 3-5 years. I want to focus my budget a tiny bit more on the CPU as long as it gets the tasks done. My partner and I (32F) signed a new lease and it’s 50 pages. He always asks for the physical printed copy of bill receipts so I do that. I did the same for the lease, I printed the “congratulations” page
When I was printing it he said we have a lot of paper for you. I thanked him.
The next day he was furious because I didn’t print all 50 pages. He said “me saying we have a lot of paper should’ve been a hint for you to print the entire thing how stupid are you?”
And then went on to say if I didn’t know just ask—when for years I never had to ask it was always just the receipt and so how do I ask for something when I don’t know to ask?
It feels like I have to read minds but it also is just I don’t know how to take hints and when to ask for clarification because asking too much annoys him.
I don’t know what to do. Any help please? Thank you.

2024.11.27 19:45 Fun-Worldliness1770 Assigning work during Thanksgiving break
So I am taking a class and our professor has done some things that I am unsure if they are allowed by the university. On our syllabus, there is a large essay assignment that is 20% of our grade. However, what was not stated about it on the syllabus is that the prompt would not be released until the Tuesday DURING BREAK, and she is making it due one week later, on the Tuesday we first have class. She also has our final on that day. Are teachers allowed to withhold assignment prompts from you until you are ON the break, then make it due immediately after break, therefore literally FORCING you to do the assignment on your break?
My other question is that on our syllabus, it was stated that we would have three exams during the semester comprising 70% of our grade total, with the points split between the three exams. However, she did not tell us until after the first exam, which we got back in November, that she was going to get rid of one of the exams, and therefore make each of the two exams worth 35% of the grade- a significantly higher portion than it was supposed to be. She said this was due to the hurricanes. Keep in mind, the vast majority of students also found out they had failed this exam because she made it impossible. So essentially, she made it so students who did not do well on the exam learned it was going to comprise 15% more of their grade than the syllabus claimed it was, but AFTER taking the test was graded.
Are these things allowed by the university? To clarify, this is in the college of liberal arts and sciences, and it’s an undergraduate political science ELECTIVE. … and we have 200 pages of reading a week. lol. Someone please lmk because there’s just no way this is fair to the students
