Basically the title.
Just read that post about the yellow/white boxes on the platform and it reminded me of something I'd completely forget about.
I was walking through Green Park late at night and a worker kept putting the Allen key thing in to the little silver squares with an indented circle in the middle that are on the wall.
I'd never noticed them before but it was quiet and he was in front of me from the barriers to the platform (Northern line I think) and I noticed he kept putting the Allen key in to/on to them. Only for a second or so.
I think my mostly dead from work brain figured it was some kind of logging system to show you're doing patrols or something and forgot about it. But the not dead part realised it still doesn't know what they are years later!

I’m looking at 2 weeks in Italy in June. Right now the plan is Naples > Amalfi > Rome > Florence (/Tuscany/wine country). I have several questions, but I’ll try to keep it short.
Would you sacrifice time in Amalfi for Positano? Is there a way to hit both, or should I focus on one?
What areas should I try and book accommodations in each city? (I know, big question.) Looking to be near good food and excursions.
Where in wine country would you stay? Are there any can’t-miss experiences in the area?
Is the train the best way to get between all these cities?
And finally… if you have any other tips, I’d love to hear them!
