I’m having problems with my bike (Ducati Scrambler sixty2 2016 - around 60k km on it) and could use some help figuring out exactly what’s wrong. Since I'm not sure what exactly is the cause of my issues, I'm including all of my recent actions on the bike even if they seem irrelevant.
About a month ago, I changed the oil and oil filter. A couple days later, when I tried to start the bike, it struggled to start and the battery light turned on. After a ride on high revs, the light turned off.
Some days later, while changing the air filter and spark plugs, I noticed that the oil was overfilled so I drained some until its level was between min and max.
Later that week, I tried to start the bike. I pressed the starter button. The starter was spinning but the bike was not starting. I pressed the starter button again. This time the dashboard kept turning on and off with a clicking noise, and the starter not spinning. I turned the key off and back on and the engine started, but it was running rough.Throughout the ride the engine would idle too high, especially right after closing the throttle. It would "calm down" over a course of a minute or so. The bike would jerk forward when opening the throttle (only when going from throttle closed to open- as I kept rolling it the revs would climb smoothly as usual), and a couple of times it revved itself up without me touching the throttle at all. The engine braking seemed far less pronounced, probably because of the high idle. I assumed that it was some kind of an air leak and disassembled the airbox, and that’s when I noticed that the stepper motor (located at the bottom of the throttle body - from what I understand it controls the amount of air going to the engine at idle) was vibrating and making noises every time I turned the key off. I took it off, cleaned it out and put it back in but the issue persisted.
Then, I accidentally started it with the stepper motor unplugged. It was idling low and producing a smell (rich condition I assume). The "ENGINE" warning and light came up on the dash. After plugging the stepper motor back in, the bike wouldn't start. The starter was not turning, the dash was turning on and off and it was making a clicking noise.
I took out the battery and charged it.
Then I tried to replace the stepper motor with a used one I got off of a local mechanic one but broke it's housing in the process.
So I tried to salvage the old one by oiling the o-ring, replacing the spring and shaft with parts from the new one, making sure that it was properly sealed when going on the throttle body. The sound when turning off the key was gone. The engine seemed to run a bit better. The "ENGINE" warning and light turned off. I took it for a ride and at first it was more or less the same, but later it started idling slower (almost stalling, had to manually open the throttle a bit at a traffic light), the engine light came back, reduced engine braking.
My guess is that the stepper motor could be bad, but since it's a very expensive part, I can't easily verify it. Any advice on how I can test it to narrow down the issue and fix it eventually? Some of my other guesses are a leak or blockage in one of the air lines, and a blown gasket from overfilling the oil earlier or some valve clearance issues (not likely IMO since the issue is very pronounced and happened suddenly). All advice is appreciated

Guys, I would ask you what to do in order to improve my endurance during rolls, typically they last in 5 minutes, I can stand the first and the second roll (sequentially) with much effort, but when it comes to the third and sometimes the fourth one in a row I seriously need the oxygen supply tank. I'm 225lbx185, what's your advice? Perhaps working more on some extra cardio sessions during the week or rolling more and more?

I noticed there aren’t many reviews online for this bench, so I wanted to share some pictures and my thoughts for anyone interested. Overall, this is a fantastic bench for the price. I initially purchased the Rep Blackwing bench with high expectations but ended up returning it because the seat pad was too large and felt uncomfortable during incline exercises and it felt bulky and heavy, making it difficult for me to move around.
In comparison, this bench competes impressively well with the other premium options in the space. First off, the pad on this bench is comfortable and grippy, unlike the Blackwing’s pad, which felt overly firm—almost like lying on a rock for me. While this bench does have a gap, I don’t find it bothersome since I can fully lay on the back pad while benching. The Griffin’s front knurling is excellent, providing just the right amount of grip. On the other hand, the Blackwing’s knurling felt too passive for my liking, though that’s a minor detail.
Despite being only 10 pounds lighter than the Blackwing, this bench feels significantly easier to move around. Griffin is also releasing extra attachments for this bench in early 2025 (leg roller, leg extension, etc.), but I found that in the meantime my Bolt Fitness leg roll attachment fits perfectly, as shown in the pictures.
Overall, I highly recommend this bench. It offers performance almost on par with the Rogue Manta Ray or Blackwing but at a much lower price. (Pro tip: buy it during the holidays when it goes on sale. I snagged mine on Black Friday for about $439, but it sells out quickly!)
Cons
- The pad width is slightly less than 12 inches.
- I wish the attachment knob were designed better, as it can be frustrating to unscrew once the leg roller is installed.
- It frequently goes out of stock or is backordered. (I waited nearly a month to receive mine, but this might improve going into 2025 as I heard their ramping up production.)

I woke up Monday morning with terrible ringing and sudden hearing loss. The day before I had terrible allergies (I get them from time to time - I’m allergic to dogs and cats and they’re around me frequently) and got the flu at the same time. I was freaked out because I’ve gotten blocked ears before but nothing like this.
I went to urgent care on the same day, and the doctor there told me to have some ear drops for infection as she saw it was a bit swollen, but to visit an ENT 48h later.
I had my appointment two hours ago (so two days later), and got a test done which showed 100% hearing loss on my right side and fortunately 0% hearing loss on the left side.
He said it was SSNHL and prescribed me an aggressive treatment of prednisone to begin tomorrow morning, after that I will get some injections. He also gave me 2 blood tests and one MRI.
I was shocked because everyone around me just said it was typical blockage from the flu / earwax accumulated and no one took it seriously. I’m glad I’m a bit of a hypochondriac because I was relatively quick booking the appointments in case it was something serious and turns out it is.
Tbh I’m so scared and I’ve been crying a lot ever since i left the appointment, just scared shitless it will happen on the other side as well. I’m also still dizzy all the time and just wondering if I will stay like this forever.
Just needed a space to vent as I didn’t know this was something that could just happen out of the blue. I’m still so scared, I suffer from anxiety so I’ve just been having a really bad time with this.
