I purchased a steam deck for my husband’s birthday present and I received the confirmation email but nothing since then. I cannot access it because I did it through a guest account and even after typing in my email and verification code I am not able to access any info.

Hello, I'm planning on doing some long term travel this year starting with Asia. I recently purchased a GoPro Hero 13 creator edition so I can start recording my journey. I have never vlogged but I've done a fair amount of travel so now I'd like to start as I mostly solo travel. I'm wonder if they're are any suggestions as to which laptop I should purchase for video editing and uploads from my GoPro. I know I probably want something with 16GB RAM, 512-1TB SSD and min 1080i screen, but I'm looking for actual product suggestions. Any advice would be appreciated!! Thank you!

I've been grinding since the hour the update dropped and heard you can get the original BMW but I've scoured the whole damn map with every lockup and only found 9/15 blacklist cars (not including the BMW) so I figured I'd look at the devs blog on their website and found something that kind of stood out to me a bit either I'm just reading it wrong or do we NEED to have stolen 14 blacklist cars and then the BMW will come into play?

2024.11.27 19:30 General_Extent_8167 Not getting monthly interest payments on savings accounts.
I just realized that Wellsfargo has stopped giving the monthly interest payments of the 0.01% on both my way to save and and bussiness savings. I had called already, and the guy had no idea and couldn't answer my question as to why they stopped. I know it's not alot of money, but it's the principal. I had been getting the payments on both accounts every month but then suddenly they had stopped. Usually it's just something very small, like 1 to 3 cent month. Does anyone happen to know why that could be?

2024.11.27 19:30 mattyicee7 Thoughts on jobs with very high bonuses compared to salary?
Looking for answers ideally from people who have had jobs like this. I’m just curious of the pros/cons.
So I recently took a job at one of the major banks making 70k as the salary, but the annual bonus ranges from about 20% of your salary to over 100% based on performance. It is an analytical role. From what I understand, at the end of the year the department is allocated $X amount of money for bonuses, and then it’s up to the managers to determine who gets how much based on performance. That’s neither here nor there, just further explanation on it.
But how do people feel about this pay style?
I personally like it because I’ll continue to live below my means on just my salary, and then the big bonuses each year will just be a huge jump in my savings. I’m trying to figure out what possible cons would be. My only thought would be if you were just overspending throughout the year banking on getting X as your bonus. But I’m a pretty simple dude so I’m not worried about that

2024.11.27 19:30 testroyer9 I’ve been getting these scattered images on my screen on boot
They seem to go away randomly after a while on certain occasions. I have up to date drivers and gpu works without a fault when connected to an external display so I know the issue is in the hardware. I even opened it up once to check the connection of the screen to the motherboard and it was well secured. Anybody could diagnose the issue oand has a potential issue in mind ? (I could send you a video of the problem in action)

Hey Reddit,
I’m a 23-year-old Personal Support Worker (PSW), and I’ll be starting nursing school in January. I’ve always loved my job and working with older people, but lately, it’s been emotionally draining.
A lot of my patients are rude to me, and it feels like they focus on my appearance—especially my weight. They make hurtful comments, call me ugly, and fat. it’s hard not to take it personally. One of my patients has severe behavioral issues—she’s violent, bites and hits me, and hurls nasty words at me.
I don’t want to stop working with older people because I genuinely care about them, and some of my patients are wonderful. But the negative experiences are starting to overshadow the good ones. I’m sad and exhausted, and I’m worried about burning out before I even start nursing school.
At the same time, I know I have a passion for what I’m doing, and I don’t want to lose that spark. I’m just struggling to deal with the way some patients treat me, especially since their comments about my size hit me on such a personal level.
For anyone who works in healthcare or caregiving: How do you manage when patients are rude or abusive? How do you stop yourself from burning out while still keeping your love for the work alive?
I really want to push through this and stay committed to my goals, but it’s hard to not feel defeated sometimes. Any advice or words of encouragement would mean so much to me right now.
