My wife and I have lived out of state for a while and are crashing with my in-laws in Davis County. I work from home and my wife will be commuting to basically the Cannon Health Building in Salt Lake City. Things up here are pretty expensive and get more expensive as you move towards Salt Lake City, so we are considering homes in Tooele. We are not familiar with Tooele and the surrounding area, so we are hoping to get some advice from everyone about the area. We have three elementary-age kids, so we would appreciate advice on schools. Also, we are boardgame junkies and foodies, so restaurant and game store recommendations would be appreciated as well. We're not mormon, so we would appreciate a community that is respectful of other lifestyles/beliefs. Anything else interesting, unique, or important to know about the area would be appreciated, too.

2024.11.27 19:50 sadandspookyyy I left a great career and am completely lost
I graduated from a great medical school but honestly, I just couldn’t keep doing it. My mental health was the worst it’s ever been, and the thought of continuing to work in the field for another 5 to 7 years before I could potentially enter private practice and work part time…. I know it’s not that much time in the long run, but I just couldn’t. Nobody understands why I left and just think I’m making a stupid decision. I have always been a creative person, and neglecting that part of me just really felt I was neglecting a crucial part of my being.
Thankfully i graduated without loans, but I still feel extreme guilt about the money my parents spent/they constantly remind me as well. So I’m trying to still find a job in non-clinical healthcare job like consulting, just to use my degree and get some money saved up
I wish it wasn’t so hard to change careers, and I wish I didn’t choose what I did at the age of 16. I love using my hands and building things, even started my own Etsy shop and plan on selling things at a local market, but starting over completely seems like so much wasted time and money :(

I don't buy the theory that Mance= Rhaegar.
However, I think it's a little bizzare that Mance visited Winterfell not once but twice and took notice of Jon Snow of all people. It's just a little strange. "Oh, I am doing this dangerous journey to visit this castle in particular and this little bastard boy is what caught my interest". I wonder if there's something more to it. I know that Jon is special and all but it's a little weird how Mance is do interested in him.

I’m very impressed with the speeds I get, and their coverage is basically on par with the other 3, n71 coverage is great indoors and while moving between cell sites, n70 coverage is very consistent when outside, and when you’re on n70 speeds are always above 200mbps. VoNR works great too, i’ve really haven’t seen a difference between Dish’s VoNR and Verizon’s VoLTE. Dish has continued to add sites in the area, so i’m glad to see they’re still densifying, hopefully someone can come grab them up and save the network for another 10 years. I don't know what I'm exactly looking for to be honest, but probably a really unique and honest friendship that with someone interesting and preferably an outcast like me.. A friendship where we don't have to mask anything, 'trauma dump' on each other and just be honest with our thoughts, past and share who we are deep down to maybe cope with our reality temporarily or just become really close friends.
I'm quite lonely, depressed, weird, loser and have been a NEET for quite long and can't really relate to most normies because of my past and feel reallty alienated from society so looking for someone like myself. You should definitely be miserable, weird, and feel alienated by most people and preferably spend majority of your time online rotting your brain so we could relate to each other and not feel miserable about our lives, or at least feel miserable together, or since I'm trying to improve my life, we could try to motivate each other as well ^ but please, don't be someone overly optimistic and positive.. I really can't stand that, as I can be a bit nihilistic, pessimistic and even somewhat misanthropic at times
Other than that, I love baking/cooking, going on walks, shitposting (my favorite) , playing games, watching anime, and brainrotting on YT/X/Reddit. I also like to read (philosophy), but recently I've taken a break from it since reading triggers my existential fears and makes me more depressed. I feel like this is enough for someone like me to understand if we're relatable or not. If you have any questions, you can obv ask them
