I won an auction three weeks ago, paid the same day, and it still has not shipped. I messaged the seller last week looking for an update and received no response, so a few days later I requested to cancel the order. After doing so ebay said “We'll check to see if the seller can still cancel this order before getting back to you. It will take no more than 3 days for the seller to confirm.” As the whole issue in the first place was the seller going radio silent they predictably did not confirm or deny the request and the 3 days have now passed. Now ebay is saying “you can still contact the seller to return the order after you receive it” but at this point I’m clearly not going to receive it at all. When I click item has not arrived it says I need to wait until 3 December to open a request. I’m just wondering if when I’m finally able to do this ebay will automatically process the refund, or will there be more hoops to jump through of ‘waiting’ for a response from a seller who isn’t going to respond?

I’m about to buy a rental in close proximity to 3 universities, so I’m planning to target student tenants. I’m 19 and in my second year of college. I’m worried that my age may affect how my property is treated and on time payments. Especially because most student tenants are possibly older than me or the same age.
Should I consider having someone older than me be the “front man” to avoid this issue?

It’s completely hard and dry almost like hardened sugar. I tend to gravitate towards the “big lumber jack” type of men. Weakness would probably be beards with light eyes. Just want to be honest as looks are important (definitely not everything though).
I’m a very down to earth lady, truly put myself in everybody’s shoes & can be very understanding.
Honestly I’m quite the catch if you ask me! The only real downside is I cry allot during movies & when I see old people holding hands.

why does Modesto Police always take 45 minutes to respond to a call?? I had a domestic violence call that was code three and it took them 45 minutes to respond... they also never seem to do anything about the car break-ins I literally witnessed a car break in got the license plate and a description of the driver and they told me they can't do anything about it... they also seem to always be put off in a bad mood which I get it, MPD has to deal with crazy people but don't take that out on the regular person. I got pulled over by a Modesto police officer, for going 10 over the speed limit (The speed limit was 35) but they never seem to care when drivers go 70 down McHenry... I'm sorry I know I'm ranting and I'm not sure who's even going to read this but they never do anything and they're wasting our tax dollars on the most pointless stuff ever... I'm not even sure if I'm in the right subreddit for this but I just felt like I'm in a very complaining mood right now so I'm just going to complain about the police department.
