like, a while a go i was having a conversation with friends and they brough up that some rich dude did not let prople camp on his private property after a natural disaster, and altough i believe it would be nice if he did, i can also say that he wasn't wrong for doing so, becuase what garanteen he has the people who he would let in, if he had opened the gates, wouldn't squat there or loot his property?
i'm going to admit, i'm speaking from a place of reasonbale ignoarance, but a relative of mine did got trough squatter troubles and i saw first hand the honest to god pain in the ass that was getting rid of those.
said friend then said that who cares if people sqaut or if his place looted, he surely has the money to just buy new things if that happens.
long story short, i called it bullshit and he called me an asshole, but is in fact wrong to think that the 'becasue they have the money to' excuse is bullshit?

Right! I know I said I was gonna do one of these every day, but school and stuff is really getting in the way of things so... Yeah, I was delayed.
But today we're gonna be discussing the cooks, and whether they are redeemable.
The thing I dislike about the cooks is that there isn't much there. Yeah, they're enemies, yeah they're gonna kill you. But there's not much special about them. They're literally just enemies. The janitor has tragedy and potentially is in the second game. The Lady is the captain of the ship. The guests are gluttonous and will eat anything they can. The cooks are literally just cooks; all they do is capture you and cook.
Is there any possibility for redemption of these creatures? Personally, I don't think so. I've tried my absolute hardest to find some things that make them redeemable, but there isn't much I can find. Obviously, maybe they'd be killed if they refused to work, and therefore they're cooking the children cause they have to. Or maybe they don't even realize that what they're cooking is children.
But yeah, none of those points really make much sense. They definitely know that they're cooking children, cause they're all packaged into bags and just sent to the cooks. We know that they're not chopped up or anything before because in the DLCs, Seven is unharmed (which would be impossible if he was meant to be cut up first).
Secondly, if they were only killing cause they had to, why do they throw bottles at you as you're escaping??? You're leaving them behind and they've got no chance of making you into food, yet they still try to kill you with that bottle (which misses horrendously). So they obviously just want you dead. It's not just for survival.
Also, another detail is that if a cook captures you while you're near a cooking pot, they'll literally drop you in it, while it's full of boiling water. They literally cook you alive. They don't spend the time to kill you first. It would take one cut of the throat. But no, that takes too much time apparently.
So yeah, the cooks are pretty much unredeemable <3

Probably moving there soon-ish but I heard it's blocked due to lootboxes (in this case the AC scratch stuff). When I check the SteamDB stuff there's a part about not allowing MicroTransactions from specific countries but Belgium is not there.
Is it still the case that players can't access NGS from Belgium?

So I have many private stories all for different things, my main one has 40 people in it and I’ve just posted on it about the ios 18 update on my iPad and a singular video has 53 views on it, only 3 of those people are part of the story the other 50 aren’t even people I know/added on snap(also the fact there’s only 40 people who CAN view it)
Has anybody else had this issue?? Or like know how this has happened??

Hi all
My partner and I will be moving to the North East of Melbourne (close to Yarra Ranges) next year and will need to purchase 2 cars in one hit.
- Budget: 20-30k total for both (!). We won't have a huge budget to work with as we'll be purchasing the house at the same time, so will need to cover fees, removal costs, etc. we'd prefer to pay outright and avoid debt.
- Family: 1 infant, 3 dogs. It's unlikely we'll be road tripping anywhere with everyone but it would be ideal to have one car with a bit of extra space.
- Purpose: Car 1 - simple/reliable commuter for getting to/from Healesville, going shopping locally, etc. Car 2 - same, but for getting to Lilydale Station for daily commute by train to city.
- Preferences: aim is reliability/serviceability. We have no preference about make, body type, etc. That said, it would be good if one car was a bit more robust than the other (e.g., if we needed to suddenly pack up and drive to Sydney, we would actually make it there easily).

If i knew then what i know now I would have not limited myself to just one SD. When you find yourself in a good arrangement it's like you don't care to see anyone else or want things to end, but it almost never last forever. It's prob best not to think long term or be exclusive - especially to someone who is already committed to someone else.

 | To follow up my last post with a positive note I couldn’t ask for more. They didn’t have an ecotronic grey Sel at my local dealer so they had to bring one in from about an hour away. It came with a silver pinstripe which I actually kinda like (reminds me of being a teenager in the 90’s) and I negotiated a switch out of the cargo divider for a set of roof racks. We bought my wife a ‘25 Kia sportage about a month ago and I think the upgrades they did to the Tucson really shine compared to the sportage… hopefully get a solid decade out of it and would happily get another in the future.
