Nunca fui muito de quadrinhos, mas recentemente decidi tentar de novo e acabei achando meu nicho. Comecei com A rosa mais vermelha desabrocha: O amor nos tempos do capitalismo tardio ou por que as pessoas se apaixonam tão raramente hoje em dia da Liv Strömquist e depois li mais outros dois que achei dela (A origem do mundo e Na sala dos espelhos). Aí fui pra Notas sobre Gaza do Joe Sacco que eu gostei muito (e já comprei o Palestina também). Fora esses, lembro de ter gostado muito de Persépolis da Marjane Satrapi e Maus do Art Spiegelman. Também li Fragmentos do Horror do Junji Ito e curti, mas acho que os meus preferidos mesmo são esses quadrinhos mais políticos e/ou filosóficos.
Agora tô meio sem rumo, então queria saber se alguém tem indicações pra mim.

2024.11.27 20:40 iLikeAnimeboobies I have performance issues with older games and need help.
Well, as the title says i have performance issues with a few older games like Batman Arkham City or Bioshock infinite. I really dont understand why tho, as my computer is pretty good, games like Cyberpunk 2077 or Spiderman run on highest settings with no issues. The older games run fine at first, but after a few minutes they start to run laggy and the longer i keep them open the more they lag, until at some point it gets so bad the game freezes for a few seconds, my cpu usage goes up to 100%, drops to 0% and i can play again (still with lags). But if I restart the game before it gets that bad I can „reset“ it and have a few minutes until it starts again. I have 0 ideas what could be the issue here. Does anybody know?

Hi all! I have finally just arrived in the USA as a permanent resident for the first time. Here's my timeline and some other info.
I-130 filed - 3/7/23 Receipt issued - 3/10/23 I-130 approved - 2/17/24 DS-260 and affidavit of support approved - 7/25/24 (some delay here on our side while my partner changed jobs) Interview scheduled - 9/18/24 Interview held - 11/20/24 Passport received - 11/25/24
The interview (UK) was really straightforward, just checking of the document originals followed by a few questions about my husband like what he does for a living and where we will live. One important note for interviews in London: don't join the queue if you're there for an immigrant interview, just go to the front where they will check your appointment confirmation and send you through. They told me 1-2 weeks to get my passport back but I had the courier tracking number two days later and received after three business days total. Booked my flight when my passport was in hand and here I am!
It's been a long almost two years but it's so worth it. Still very surreal that I live here now!
