Brand New but confused Ok so I’m brand new to this game (6ish full runs in) and I got a joker that I thought worked one way but I’m convinced I’m doing something wrong. Hallucination Joker is supposed to trigger 50% of the time on booster pack open right? But I’ve opened 12 booster packs (or I think they are, some are celestial and some are tarot) and it hasn’t triggered at all or even said nope like some of the other jokers. What am I doing wrong?

2024.11.27 20:50 Sillysenator Help me appreciate OTM

Being completely honest, OTM as a whole might be my least favorite beach house album. At first, I listened to the first chapter over and over again (haha) and I did like it but it didn’t stand out to me. As the album released, I felt this way more and more. Eventually, the more I listened, I liked it and I even have it on vinyl, but it still never sparkled the way almost everyone other album has for me at one point or another. Then recently, I listened to it again and I felt even more negative about it than before.
Each album of theirs has at least a few songs for me that I’ve been obsessed with at one point, and overall each album has some kind of special quirk to it, but for me the the songs I do like from OTM are still at the lower end of their discography for me, and while the album is unique with its different chapters, I just don’t really get the overall world they’re trying to build here, and even though it explores different styles, I still feel like it’s some what underwhelming in terms of sonic richness. I find a lot of the melodies and lyrics just overall cheesy.
I’d love to hear why other people like it so I can maybe try to listen to it differently next time. Concrete examples of moments you love and why would be super helpful, or just general thoughtful opinions!!! Just to trying to gain perspective!!!

i’ve been diagnosed with anxiety and depression, and not diagnosed for something causing hallucinations. i’ve reached out to multiple psychiatrists who can’t help because my symptoms are “too severe” and recommended going to a mental hospital. so yesterday i applied to a mental hospital and got rejected for being “too severe” again.

So I made the decision to get my first credit card. It’s the discover student cash back card, which my sister recommended. I grew up in a very anti- credit card household, and pushed the idea off for a while, but I’m 19 now and financially responsible for my living costs, school, and pretty much everything. I did a little research, and my game plan is to literally only use the card for gas and pay it off immediately. I’m hoping that this will adequately build up my score, seeing as I’m starting off with no score at all. Does anyone have recommendations on this? I think it’s a sold plan, but again I’m not used to the concept of building credit and I don’t want to do anything wrong. I also recently signed up for Experian so I can keep track of everything, and I think I’m pretty well equipped at the moment.

I saw gladiator 2 last night and about 90 minutes in a woman(with her boyfriend) starts violently vomiting into a popcorn bucket like 5-6 seats to the left of me and never leaves to clean or freshen up at all but instead decides to finish the movie and leave the popcorn bucket in the empty seat next to her rather than throw it away. While it was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen in a movie theater, clearly the movie was pretty good for them to not leave 🤣

I traded my infinit for a used 22 Titan here. Salesman was ok. But when I got home I realized they didn’t give me the correct key for the truck. I went back a few days later to find that they never cut the key. I also noticed the back doors and tailgate didn’t lock and unlock with the key fob. They cut the key but told me they would order the actuator for the doors. Then I never heard back from anyone. I reached out to my salesman and he said they refuse to fix the locks. I wouldn’t go back to this dealer or send someone there if it was the last Nissan dealer in GA. Costumer service is the worst!!!!
