After years of flawless etching, xTool D1 Pro 20W + Lightburn gives me these repeating ripples whenever I etch anything now. It’s almost like ghosting from a loose belt, but they are all properly tightened. I even installed a new lens and cleaned everything up.  | DO NOT TRANSFER TO THIS STATE!! State 830 started its journey to become a complete dictatorship. After many of the big and strongest players transferred to other states, one big -but kind of weak- whale started her path to control the whole state. During the last transfer, she made sure that the current president back then, her dog, gave all the transfer invites to players she recruited from other states for their alliance only. She started kicking people out of that alliance to make space for them. The allianceless people were instructed to go to AKA, a farm and actually dead alliance for months now. However, their leadership decided to merge with HMR, which had survived many bad merges and bullies but had better facilities and territory. Begun, the dictator, didn't like this and said that she felt betrayed by "her" members and started burning everyone in HMR and AKA because she "instructed" them not to merge with HMR. While people were burning, many got mad after seeing all their progress go to zero. They asked them to stop it saying that the state was already dead enough to keep killing the game for the ones left. She kept saying how betrayed she felt for AKA's leadership, so she will continue to do it. Then, people got even mad and started calling her "dictator", "weak leader", and so on. After a couple of hours, she demanded all those members apologize to her on the world chat, or she would continue to burn HMR (where people decided to go). In the middle of all this, Begun said that "her" alliance (830, she changed it to the state number), will not be sharing facilities with any alliance anymore, so she "instructed" HMR to find new ones somewhere else, and they did it. But yesterday, they built their path to those new facilities and started taking them from HMR. (Would they know that facilities do NOT stack up?? that only one of them counts as buffer??) Last week, for Castle Battle, she got the presidency, and her first movement was to put many people in jail; they still are there. All the people who didn't apologize to her. All people from HMR. By the way, she has said it before: "I don't like SVS, so I don't play that. I only play what I like", so she has been using the state buffs on random days (not even coinciding with another event) to sabotage the next SVS. It won't be a surprise if she doesn't activate them during the prep phase. At this moment: - All the living alliances left are planning on transferring so she can do what she is looking for: play by herself. Most of the people left don't want to play in a state with a bully whale. I'm not sure how many people in her alliance actually agree with her and her behavior; I lost contact with my friend (who was in her alliance) after they quit the game due to her actions. - The last thing I knew from "her" alliance was that many members were scared of leaving "her" alliance due to threats of burning them if they did. One of them was brave enough to say it on World Chat as their "free choice," and she put them in jail right after. So, basically, no one can move alliances without her approval. - She has been recruiting members she burnt from HMR, who are probably under the same threat of burning them. Her narrative is: "I am big and strong; if you are with me, I'll keep you safe, and no one will hurt you". Of course, no one will hurt anyone! She is the one burning people like crazy. - "Her" alliance is taking all the strongholds and as many fortresses as she can. NAP is completely broken today. She has been in and out of it for days now. When she is in, we have to agree to whatever she says, or she throws a huge tantrum and leaves to start burning whoever questioned her. (This is not new... this has been happening for months now). - HMR and AKA are not the only alliances she has burnt. Many others had seen her full marches going towards them. Even small accounts of people who transferred and came to see what they couldn't believe what was going on. - Begun was the name she used when I started seeing her: always bragging about how much she spent in the game. She is always changing it, so we all decided to use "Begun" or Identity Crisis. Because, man... she has some big problems there. Other names used by her: Serenity, Mage, Knight, and many others that I can't remember now. DO NOT TRANSFER THERE! I already purchased this but I am missing the SSD and I don't know how advisable it would be to put a Crucial T700 2TB Gen5 NVMe M.2 SSD with a heat sink. I would like to know your opinions if I should buy this SSD or a PCLe 4.0 like the Samsung 980 PRO with a heat sink. The body set up to find the remains of the Disappeared has carried out an exhumation at a cemetery in County Monaghan.
The Independent Commission for the Location of Victims’ Remains (ICLVR) said it received information about suspicious activity during the 1970s at a grave in Annyalla cemetery.
"Both the timeframe and the location coincide with the disappearance of Joe Lynskey in 1972," an ICLVR statement said.
Mr Lynskey was abducted and murdered by the IRA in 1972.
The Disappeared are those who were abducted, murdered and secretly buried during The Troubles in Northern Ireland.
Jon Hill, the lead investigator with the ICLVR, said Mr Lynskey's family were "cautiously optimistic".
"But you have to remember they have been down this road before," he told BBC Radio Ulster's Good Morning Ulster programme.
"Sadly this happened back in 2010 when we were undertaking a search for Joe Lynskey and we actually recovered the remains of Seamus Wright and Kevin McKee.
"They are cautious, as are we, and it is the right way to be, but of course they are hopeful.
Speaking to BBC Radio Ulster's Talkback programme, Mr Lynskey's niece Maria said she was "very nervous" but also "very optimistic" about the exhumation.
"These are long journeys for us, for all the families of the Disappeared that have had to go through this," Ms Lynskey said.
"I’ve been disappointed before so I’m hoping I’m not disappointed again."
Ms Lynskey said her father had been dead for 30 years and he would have loved to have known where his brother was.
"When people give information, they don’t realise how humble and how grateful we are that they have given information," she said.
"Whoever owns this grave, I thank them from the bottom of my heart that this has come out and hopefully it’s Joe, I hope to god it’s Joe and we can bring him home," she added.
"But we still have four more bodies, three men and one young woman that we need to bring home, too."
Describing her uncle, Ms Lynskey said: "He was quiet, he was quite gentle and shy in a way. He was the only uncle we had."
The exhumation at Annyalla cemetery, between Monaghan town and Castleblayney, took place on Tuesday and continued throughout the day with a forensic anthropologist on behalf of the ICLVR, Mr Hill said.
The ICLVR said the formal process to establish the identity of all of the remains found in the grave has begun.
Mr Hill said that how long the process will take "really depends on what we have recovered and we won't know for some days whilst that is examined by the anthropologist".
"I will be guided by them and the scientists on how long it will take," he said.
"It will take as long as it needs to take
Who was Joe Lynskey? A former Cistercian monk from the Beechmount area of west Belfast, Mr Lynskey later joined the IRA.
Mr Lynskey went missing in 1972, and republicans have claimed he was "executed and buried" by the IRA.
The latest search for his remains was in 2018. It ended without success.
Last November, his niece said that his body "needs to be brought home".
So far, the remains of 13 of the Disappeared have been recovered.
The remaining four are Mr Lynskey, Columba McVeigh, Seamus Maguire and Robert Nairac.
The disappearance of Mr Maguire was taken on as a new case by the Independent Commission for the Location of Victims' Remains (ICLVR) in 2022.
The ICLVR was established by the UK and Irish governments in 1999.
Say Nothing plot line The plight of the Disappeared has come to the fore again, following the release of the Disney+ series, Say Nothing.
The drama focuses on events during the Troubles including the disappearance of mother of 10 Jean McConville as well as Kevin McKee, Seamus Wright and Joe Lynskey.
However, Jon Hill said the exhumation "hasn't come as a result of that programme going out in the last weeks".
"This process has been going on for months now if not longer," he added.
Meanwhile, Sinn Féin senior politician Pearse Doherty said the Lynskey family had "gone through a terrible injustice".
He said he hoped the remains are found of all the Disappeared.
Doherty called on anyone with information to come forward and give these families the right "that they should always have had, which is to bury their loved ones".
Posting on X, formerly Twitter, the WAVE Trauma Centre said their thoughts were with the Lynskey family as "they face a long wait".
Also speaking on Talkback, Anthony McIntyre - a former member of the IRA - said that the "disappearing" of people amounted to a war crime.
"It's a horrendous, horrendous series of actions," Mr McIntyre said.
"I don't think the IRA volunteers involved in it at the time appreciated that it was a war crime, but I think on reflection and looking back it very much was a war crime," he said.
"I think the IRA collectively has to accept responsibility that there's no place for us to hide and there's no one left for us to lie to. We need to admit our role in this."
