 | Hello everyone! I adopted my first IRN about three days ago. An older woman was surrendering her so I took her under my wing. I love her so much, over the past couple of days she’s been so vocal and has even let me hand feed her. Something I noticed is that she wants to fly. She’ll open up her wings and get ready for takeoff, but she won’t do it. Something I also can’t ignore is how butchered her wings seem to be. Her previous owner told me about how she clips all her birds wings all the time :/. This looks awful though. She doesn’t let me get near her or handle her quite yet so I can’t get a closer look. She’s tried to fly once but she barely made it a few feet from where she started. These are screenshots I took from a video I made yesterday. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do? anything to help with the growth? Seeing her want to fly around and not being able to breaks my heart. I wish they would reach out it feels like the timing is always wrong. I'm an artist that has lately started to use ink for my drawings. I have used Sakura pigma pens for inking and some brushes, but dip pens have caught my interest. I'm a beginner when it comes to inking, but I'd like to try the dip pens, since they look like with them I could get the results I'm looking for in my art. Does anyone have any recomendation with what kind of nip holder I should buy, what kind of nips are good for drawing, what kind of paper should I use, or what inks are good? Any kind of advice would be helpful for me. Sorry if this have gramatical errors. English is not my first lenguaje, so I still have problems writting it.

I don’t know where to begin. I don’t know what to call it. I just feel like an outcast, A walking machine, A narrator? I don’t feel like I even exist anymore. I’m operating on auto-pilot day to night. I don’t fit in and realised that I never really did I just acted like people who fit in. There’s no single soul on this earth gets me and I feel so lonely in my body . Sometimes I feel like I’m just a dot surrounded by a very big balloon that distances me from myself and from people and the outer world . I never felt fully connected to anyone or understood or listened to by anyone. People try to show me love but I have nothing to do but to appreciate those attempts because Honestly I never felt them at all. I feel like I’m always indifferent and willing to accept nothing but things that keeps me on the same state of constant waiting
