Hey all, I have a well performing ad. It shows the product, how it works, and video demonstration.
I have 243 sessions direct from ad and no conversions. More from SEO. Not even a single add to cart / abandoned checkout.
Something is wrong here, and I can’t see particularly what. I have session tracking now as of yesterday but most sessions don’t create heat or recordings as they’re too short (customer is leaving the site almost immediately without even scrolling it seems.)
The ones that do save data show the customer is scrolling the product page, then session ending.
I’d like some feedback from other store owners who may have faced similar situations. Link below, any advice helps. Looking at continuing the same campaign once changes are made somewhere.

An off-duty Toronto police officer has been found guilty of assault in the high-profile 2021 clash that began with a Kijiji deal gone bad and ended, hours later, in the death of a 19-year-old Brampton man. In her ruling, delivered in a Brampton courthouse Wednesday, Justice Jennifer Woollcombe said she did not believe much of off-duty Toronto Const. Calvin Au’s “unreliable” evidence and found the force he used on victim Chadd Facey was unreasonable, noting he posed no physical threat and had no reason to believe he had a weapon.
But she could not definitively conclude that the bruise that was found on his head — which prosecutors had argued happened when Au took Facey to the ground during a clash over a stolen watch — had indeed been caused by the tackle.
“I cannot be satisfied — beyond a reasonable doubt — that Au’s assault caused the bruise,” the judge said. That meant she could not find him guilty of assault causing bodily harm, but found him guilty of the lesser included offence of assault.
Au, who had pleaded not guilty, stared ahead as Woollcombe read her lengthy ruling Wednesday afternoon to a courtroom full of Facey’s family and friends.

Moments after handing over $400, Au and off-duty colleague Const. Gurmakh Benning realized the watch was counterfeit, chased Facey down, then Au tackled Facey to the ground. Immediately afterward, court heard, Facey’s health rapidly declined: a friend testified Facey appeared “roughed up” and “exhausted” moments after the clash (https://www.thestar.com/news/gta/teen-who-died-was-found-roughed-up-and-exhausted-after-encounter-with-off-duty-toronto/article_fa8c97e8-79dd-11ef-9c43-0b55bb6e4248.html) , and was soon rushed to hospital in an ambulance, confused and complaining he couldn’t feel his legs.
Facey died that night in a Brampton hospital from an “intracerebral hemorrhage,” or a brain bleed. In a rare case of an off-duty cop being charged in a homicide, Au was originally charged with manslaughter and aggravated assault in Facey’s death after an investigation by Ontario’s police watchdog, the Special Investigations Unit (SIU). But an 11th-hour change in forensic pathology opinion saw prosecutors downgrade those charges to a single count of assault causing bodily harm (https://www.thestar.com/news/gta/toronto-officer-has-manslaughter-charge-downgraded-in-chadd-facey-death-after-kijiji-deal-gone-bad/article_aa4020ae-7062-11ef-9715-9f3dcfc58de4.html) less than two weeks before the trial was set to begin.
The change meant that prosecutors were no longer alleging Au caused Facey’s death, something Facey’s mother called “heartbreaking.” At the outset of reading her judgment, Woollcombe acknowledged that the facts of Facey’s death “loomed over this trial,” but said the question of why and how he died “is not before the court.” “I have no doubt that the loss of Chadd Facey, a young man who had his life ahead of him, still weighs heavily on the hearts of his family,” the judge said.
At a week-long trial held in September, prosecutors argued that when Au tackled Facey it was an excessive use of force by the 185-pound cop, who outweighed the “very skinny” Facey by nearly 60 pounds. The unarmed Facey posed “no threat of harm to anyone,” Crown prosecutor Sean Horgan said, and Au had numerous other options available to him other than taking him to the ground.
“Grabbing his hand, grabbing his arm, grabbing his hoodie, telling Benning to take control of him, to arrest him,” Horgan said.

The officer’s defence lawyers — who showed video re-enactments of what they said was Au’s take-down at trial — described it as a restrained tactical manoeuvre, where Au pulled on the upper part of Facey’s body to take him down. That meant Facey was brought immediately to the ground and was not propelled in any direction, the defence said. Woollcombe commented on the simulation videos in her ruling, calling them “unhelpful” in deciding the actions before her. She noted the actor playing Facey was taller and considerably heavier than Facey and, because the take-down was staged, he would have known exactly what was coming — unlike Facey — making his reaction to the takedown different. The judge said she placed no reliance on the videos. Au also told the court that although he was off-duty, he believed he was acting in his capacity as a police officer and was planning to arrest Facey in order to get Benning’s money back. During the trial, Au was frequently combative with the Crown prosecutor, often responding to his questions with other questions. In her decision, Woollcombe was harshly critical of Au, calling him an “incredible and unreliable witness” who gave “bizarre” answers. “His evidence as a whole can accurately be characterized as unclear, evasive and argumentative,” the judge said, adding she was left “very troubled” by his testimony.
At trial, the officer’s defence team stressed that he was entitled to use reasonably necessary force because he was arresting a man who had just committed a crime.
The sole question in the trial is whether a police officer or citizen can pull a fleeing suspect to the ground after the suspect has committed a criminal offence,” lawyer Peter Brauti said. “I say the answer, in law and in logic, is yes.”
Au is suspended with pay from the Toronto police. He and Benning separately face multiple professional misconduct charges connected to the incident — including for failing to identify themselves as police officers when they called 911 to report the incident, before telling the dispatcher it was resolved. Those charges have been put on hold pending the criminal trial.
Peel police officers who were initially probing Facey’s sudden death did not determine, for four months, that Facey had been in an altercation with off duty officers right before — something that requires the SIU to be called in to investigate. The police watchdog did not take over the case until August 2021. A date for sentencing has not been set.

Let's assume that today I book an hotel for May in Japan that costs 600 EURO (I'm based in Italy).
Then, when I'll arrive in Japan, I'll check-in at the hotel and I'll pay for my stay. The hotel will take the money from my card in YEN, using the conversion rate of that day, which could be worse than today.
So, in reality I could pay 700 EURO (I'm just making an example). Is this reasoning correct?
If this is true, the only way to avoid losing money would be to pay everything upfront, using today's exchange rate?
