i seem to encounter some issue installing tailscale via ssh on linux (synology dsm 6+) and i've tried using admin but it says i have no permission.
i can ssh using admin and 'sudo tailscale up' seem to just hang.
i cannot get the screen where i can login, it says re-authenticate but clicking it doesn't work thus i used the ssh route.
any help on this is appreciated.

After my...unfortunate...falling out with Go- I mean Smith, I woke up on the ground with two items. A book and a flower.
This flower... Whenever I look at it, it makes me want to curl up in a ball and disappear. It makes me feel as though I have lost someone precious. Someone I love... as much as I wish to not look at it, every time I fall asleep, I place it on my bed-side table and stare at it all night long. I... think I should move on with the main point...
There was also a book when I awoke, and I looked through it afterwards. I found many strange instructions, with topics such as "generators", "capacitors", and "electricity". I tried and tried to understand what it is saying, but it is as if I am reading another language, but without a dictionary. There are so many unknown parts to this. But I have to keep trying. Not only to learn the secrets of this mysterious art, but I feel as though I may find answers to this flower... Maybe I'll feel better...
This is stupid...

I haven’t been watching for long so I could be wrong, but I’ve never seen her live from a hospital?
She claims to be there so much and I’ve come across other creators that people say are lying yet they still go live from hospitals, so why doesn’t Kirsten especially with how much she loves attention? I’d have thought she’d be on live straight away when in hospital?
Does she either not go to hospital? Or she just doesn’t want to risk people hearing the doctors saying she has nothing wrong?

To all those who, for whatever reason, never see fit to use your turn Signals, I have just one question:
WHY???
It's literally the simplest, easiest thing you can do to show a tiny modicum of courtesy to the people sharing the road with you. It's some of the most aggravating shit I can think of.
Sitting at a 4 way waiting for the person next to me to go straight so I can make my turn, except! They aren't going straight through, they're making a right which would not have interfered with my ability to go. Thanks for letting me know that, driver!
Or driving behind someone who suddenly starts slowing down for some unknown reason. Whats going on?? Are they breaking down? Is there something in the road I can't see? And then they swing into a parking lot or down some other road.
Oh! You were TURNING! Gee, if only your vehicle had a device built into it that you could have used to SIGNAL YOUR INTENTION TO DO THAT!!
So I ask again, drivers of Reddit.
WHY? Why can't you hit that little lever when you plan on changing the trajectory of your vehicle? Why are you unable to let other drivers know what you're planning to do? If the 75 year old man driving the old beater pickup truck with no working lights can use his shriveled arthritic hands to gesture what he's planning to do, then surely you can move one finger 2 or 3 inches to hit the little lever next to your steering wheel?
Why is it so difficult to show a little care for the other human beings piloting multi-ton machines along these narrow asphalt paths?

2024.11.27 23:43 Jimithyashford Got this one at Relics for I think $10. Relics is a hell of an antique store if you’ve never been.
 | Some of the booths have that “this is basically just yardsale stuff” vibe, but most of the place are genuinely good and interesting antiques. Probably the best antique mall in the region. Anyway, for this little rusty plane, it’s a small one used for little projects or small around the house touch ups. Probably from the 1920s, although I had a hard time dating this one. Mechanically much simpler than the larger bench planes. Only a few parts. I stripped the paint, ran the parts through the electrolysis tank to knock off the rust, and stripped the varnish off the little wood tote. Gave it a fresh coat and paint and a new sharp edge and we’re off to the races. Believe it or not I didn’t paint the wood tote black. I just sanded it down and treated with a beeswax finishing paste.
