 | Hi everyone, I’m moving into a place that is wired for Dolby Atmos. There are LCR, which are Polk 265LS and then a combo of RC80i and 80F. Above the L&R are in ceiling heights and then about 4ft away from those are two more speakers. Where the couch is are 4 in ceiling speakers. In the backyard there are two speakers. I’ve attached a crude drawing. Circle in squares are L+R with height speakers above them. They are all in-wall and in ceiling speakers Im looking for amp recommendations, I really don’t have a budget in mind just yet, so feel free to list various options, what you like or dislike about your amp set up. We currently have a Epson 3800 that we've had for 3 years now and we use it as a TV it's probably been on 5 hours a day every day since. I did notice the bulb deminish a little a few months ago in brightness and we replaced the bulb, I was surprised how cheap it was. I love the 3800 since we upgraded from the optoma hd146x and the difference was leaps ! But I know with luxury products as the prices get bigger the actual gain returns get smaller and smaller. I was wondering if it's actually worth the extra 1k or I should just keep chugging with this tank of a projector?

So, fun times...just noticed one my space platforms is randomly poof (no, I didn't delete it). Either it's a massive bug or maybe it got destroyed (even though it's been orbiting for like 30+ hours with no damage). I have no idea what happened, but anyway, is there any way of knowing what happened? If your platform gets destroyed does it just randomly disappear from the map list? I have a save from an hour ago where it's still totally fine but I'm not going back an hour, I've done too much work on the planet retrofitting a ton of stuff, and also it was one of my older designs anyway, but...wow that's annoying.

I’m waiting for my NIPT results from Myriad. I took the sample 11/18, it started processing 11/19. Today I reached out and the customer service rep said it was in the stage where it would be ready in 15ish min. I then called her back since I missed the call and she informed me it got bumped back to review and this could take 24 hours. She said it was not indicative something is wrong, but now I can’t help but think that. Any one have any words of encouragement?

I made a post yesterday thanking the officer ticketing people illegally parked in handicap spots in Fair Lakes. One frequent comment was regarding getting officers to ticket for illegal parking more frequently.
In NOVA, every jurisdiction has a non-emergency number you can call in to report illegal parking of any kind. Some may also allow the use of an app to report this, but you would need to check on this with the jurisdiction.
If you call in, and there is an officer nearby who is not working something, then you could see an officer showing up in a few minutes to start ticketing.
And they can ticket for handicap violations in any lot if it is reported. Even lots where they don't have permission to come in and just check for violators.
