2024.11.28 00:30 AzerynSylver What is your opinion on Gundams with 'personalities?'
I am really getting into Gundam. I have so far watched the Unicorn and IBO series, I have watched the sequel movie to Unicorn, the Hathaway movie and I am now currently half way through Gundam Seed! (I plan to watch Gundam 00 next!)
Now, I have grown to really like the Strike in Seed, at first I thought it was just a basic, Transformers-esc Gundam, and that is cool! But I wish that the Strike had more 'personality'.
As stated previously, I had watched Iron Blooded Orphans before Seed, and that has definitely tainted my view on Gundams, as IBO did something really different with their poster boy Gundam, the Barbatos.
In IBO, the Barbatos was shown almost as a full fledged character. It was loosely stated that there were something more to the Gundams in this universe, (they were also based off the 72 Demons from Solomon's guide to demonology which is cool) and the pilot of the Gundam even confirms this by 'interacting' with the Barbatos, like saying how it is more lively than usual after getting a tune-up or even telling the machine to pick-up-the-pace when falling behind in battle, in which the machine actually picks up the pace! Not really the pilot, but the machine.
Now, this is probably just the pilot disabling some safety measures to bring out the most from the Barbatos, and when the machine reacts to enemies, it is most likely an on-board AI reacting to scans, but the way the Anime portrays it as the Machine essentially being sentient is so cool and really helps with connecting to and loving the Gundam! And sadly this is the reason why, even after watching Unicorn, Hathaway and now Seed, I just can't love the Gundams as much as the Barbatos, because they feel hollow in comparison. Which makes a lot of sense, they are just machines, but it makes it harder to like them.

Hi parents, my baby had some scabs leftover from catching hands foot mouth disease recently. She rubbed her ankles (had scabs) on a rough carpet and a chunk of her skin peeled off. It was oozy fluid and pink for most part, minimal bleeding. And now I am wondering how to treat it. I washed it with a bit of soap and water right away. And applied some of my own fucidin cream last night because it got a bit red. How should i proceed? Do I need to apply saline water daily? Or wash daily? And continue applying antibiotic cream? Do I need to just accept that this is my life now? I’m 6 weeks post op and deal with debilitating symptoms daily. Tachycardia, lightheadedness, nausea, head pressure, my vision is off, my balance is off, my hand and legs shake, I’m weak, I have anxiety almost 24/7. I really can’t imagine having to live the rest of my life feeling this way. I stay in bed most days unless I have a doctors appointment. I need my family to drive me. I’m afraid to be home by myself. Other than laundry and dishes I can’t do much around the house. Even showering is a struggle because I feel like I will fall or pass out. I have a 9 year old daughter who needs a mom that can function. This can’t be normal. I don’t think my doctors understand or believe the extent of how bad off I am. Some days, if I’m lucky, I have a few “good” hours. This can’t be normal. I thought I would get better after surgery, not worse. I was subclinical hyperthyroid due to toxic nodules (and I suspect graves also), and had most of the same symptoms pre op but before surgery I at least had some good days. I’m really starting to lose hope. Did anyone else struggle so bad?

Get companion(s) that have a lot of carrying capacity so you don't have to limit your weight capacity 2. Get yourself a futon(either craft it or exchange furniture coupon from Nefu/Mifu village) or a bed that is lightweight so you can sleep in the dungeon bonus point if you can get a body pillow 3. For the love of god get a coldproof blanket, scraps are fireproof but not coldproof so on the off-chance you meet a creature with cold ability them scraps will not turn to dust(or in this case ice) 4.
