I recently (1 week ago) got a job as live-in staff at an apartment complex. This is my first job and everything I do is janitorial. I sweep, mop, clean walls and have an apartment in the complex. What I was not told, however, were the conditions of said apartments. Almost every apartment is trashed and digusting, and I am immuno-compromised. I have a several illnesses and I get sick very easily. I thought I could handle basic janitorial work, but this is a whole new level.
This is my first job, and is it okay to quit after a month of working here? I was also misled about what my job entailed: I was told it was mostly office work helping the property manager out. Instead I'm scrubbing vomit off of walls and vacuuming up glass and cleaning dog shit.
All the residents are unhygenic (this is low income housing I'm working with), my coworkers don't really care about me and my boss is rude.
If I stayed for another month and quit after, would that be rude? Thank you.

There's this guy I know who messages me but I never message him first and the friendship is one sided. He likes me and is on the spectrum per his own words. I don't really enjoy talking to him and I don't find him attractive. I'm late 20s and he's mid 30s I think. We don't have anything in common either.
I don't want to pursue anything with him but if this is the best I can do should I take the chance? I've wanted attention and affection and he could give that to me but I don't want it from him.

I remember it started in space before it went to a gold robot and silver robot walking around the desert before they ended up in Jabba's palace. I remember seeing Princess Leia in the gold bikini and going "Awoogah!"
When they came out with the Special Edition of the Original Trilogy, my dad took me and my brothers to see "A New Hope" in theaters. It was the first time I ever saw A New Hope.
When I saw that it began in space before showing a gold robot and silver robot walking around the desert, I thought to myself, "Okay, now they're going to Jabba's palace and then I'll get to see the pretty woman in the gold bikini again."
Then R2 gets knocked out by Jawas.
"Wait, that didn't happen!"
Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru get introduced.
"Who are these two?"
Sandpeople attack Luke
"What are those?"
Obi-Wan gets introduced.

and I kept watching expecting that at some point, they would go to Jabba's palace eventually only to see them leave the planet like they did in ROTJ and was left utterly confused when the credits rolled wondering where the pretty woman in the gold bikini went, not realizing she was there the entire time just in a white dress because her hairstyle was completely different.

Hi everyone! New to the group but a long time Murderino! I'm getting close to my winter break in my second year of law school and dreaming of my well-deserved uninterrupted, braless couch potato time. There's a lot on my watchlist already, but I need your help with a specific genre - made for tv true crime movies! I love when Karen and Georgia find them for cases they're covering, but any lists I find are a mix of movies (tv and Hollywood), shows, and docs and I never remember episode numbers or names. Can you help me with recommendations that are specifically made for tv movies based on true crime? There's one case in particular that I think has a movie. I hope I'm remembering the details well enough. It was a story of sort of "Southern royalty" - a spoiled young woman who no one let get upset for fear of a heart condition and I think she married a doctor. I think 1980s. This is probably a big ask, but I keep thinking about spending some days watching these movies the way a person strictly dieting probably thinks of steak or sweets. Law school does crazy things to a person. Thanks!

We've never seen him in the town. So far he seems to access the town through communication on the phone, mostly with Jim. Pretending to be their son, being the voice on the phone telling Jim his wife shouldn't have dug that friggin' hole.
Credit to u/PresentationOdd2825 for bringing up this great theory that the Man in Yellow has been in the town this whole time, just in another "form," i.e, as somebody else. That unlike other monsters we've seen so far, he can walk in daytime, so he was one of the towners living in the house.
When Julie runs to meet Jim at the end of S03E09, she says to him, "you gotta get back to town!"
Why? Well, maybe because the Man in Yellow can't physically hurt him there. The Man in Yellow can't physically go there in his real form. For some reason.
