So, I’m someone who follows the rules and makes an effort to respect others. This evening, I stopped at the LCBO to grab a few things. I picked up a case of Twisted Teas for my girlfriend and her friends for tomorrow night, as well as three JD Rye and Coke cans for myself. Since I have a bad wrist, I asked my 18-year-old son to carry the cans for me.
At the checkout, I put the case on the counter, and my son placed the three cans down and walked past me. The cashier asked him if he was 19, and he honestly said no, he’s 18. She scanned the Twisted Teas, but then put the three cans under the counter, saying I couldn’t buy them because he wasn’t of age. I explained that the cans were for me, not him, and that I asked him to carry them because of my wrist. She insisted I go back and get three new ones, but I decided to leave them instead.
What really bothered me was her lecturing me about parents buying alcohol for their kids and saying I should’ve used a cart if I couldn’t carry everything. I kept calm, thanked her, and left.
I understand the rules are in place to prevent underage drinking, but I felt judged and assumed to be doing something wrong. I wasn’t drunk, didn’t imply I was buying for my son, and even had a wrist brace on. I just wanted to save time since I work out of town and was spending time with my son after being away for a week.
Was I wrong here? I know she had the right to refuse the sale, but it felt unfair considering the context.

Back when I first saw the Sabaody Archipelago arc for the first time, when Kuma separated the straw hats, I was confident from the start that it was for the better; there's a scene that only lasts a few seconds, where he whispers in Rayleigh's ear that he should trust him, and that, in addition to Kizaru and Sentomaru questioning what he was doing, was enough for me to believe that Kuma was doing what was best for the straw hats at the time. So like, am I naive? Was I really supposed to believe at that point that something bad had happened to the straw hats? What was y'all's reaction to this part of the story?

oii gente, tudo bem? como vocês viram no meu último post, meu gatinho castrou e eu passei por um leve sufoco após ele receber alta.
pois bem, nesses primeiros cuidados iniciais que tive com ele após ele estar reagindo que foram dar dipirona e pingar soro fisiológico no olho dele por ele não estar piscando, nas duas situações que tive q segurar a cabecinha ele ele tentou puxar a cabeça e abaixou as orelhas pra trás, indicando desconforto/medo
sabendo que vou ter que dar medicação pra ele nos próximos 7 dias, como fazer isso sem que ele desenvolva medo/raiva de mim??
morro de medo dele se afastar e n querer chegar mais perto pelas “maldades” (na cabeça dele) que vou fazer com ele 🥹

My studio currently has 8 Rode Wireless Pros and 4 receivers, and I'm curious if I can connect all 8 to a single Rodecaster Pro 2. It can only connect 2 receivers wirelessly, but I'm wondering if I can connect 2 wirelessly and the other 2 via an XLTRS adapter. Is there any reason this wouldn't work? Each receiver only counts as one audio channel and two mics can connect to each receiver so in theory it will work but I just want to double check before purchase.

Hoy tuve que tomar una buseta, por fortuna con puesto, pero, elegí por desgracia sentarme al lado de una señora, que comenzó a ver videos en su celular sin audífonos puestos, y no exageró diciendo que a todo volumen, aún así yo tuviera mis audífonos con música oía mucho más su celular, y fue muy incómodo.
